Sins Can
Push Spirit Out of Our Hearts
We are only saved when
we continually let the Spirit guide us
Once saved always saved
is not true
1. God’s plan for creating us
2. God gives us the indwelling Spirit as down payment of our
eternal inheritance
3. Our Father foreknew who would be his children; never
taken from His hand
4. Blaspheme the Holy Spirit; an unforgiveable sin
5. God’s children who willfully keep on sinning; will not
have their sins forgiven
6. Who will not forgive others who have sinned against them
7. Try to be saved by our own human efforts
8. Falling away from God; apostasy
9. Revelation has 2 sins which are never forgiven
10. Have indwelling of the Holy Spirit; He intercedes for
us.
1. God’s plan for creating us
God created us because He wanted
children to love, children who would love Him above all things. But to be able
to love our God, He had to create us with a free will, a physical mind with the
ability to choose; whether we will love God or something else more.
*Jesus answered, “The most important is,
‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind and with all your strength.’ Mk 12:29-30 ESV+
*Do not love the world or anything
in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world--the cravings of
sinful man, the lust of his eyes
and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but
from the world. The world and
its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. 1Jn 2:15-17 NIV+
We all have a choice to make. We can
surrender our human will and accept the will of our God; and He will give us
the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us the supernatural
love of our Heavenly Father, which allows us to love our God above all things;
spiritually binds us together with Him. If we ask our Heavenly Father, He will continually fill our hearts with
the Holy Spirit to; so the Spirit can guide us to follow our Father all of our
lives. Each one of us, both children of God and unbelievers has the ability to
make this choice; until our physical mind can no
longer function (see 10. below).
*Now hope does not disappoint, because
the love of God has been poured out in
our hearts by the Holy Spirit who
was given to us. Ro 5:5 NKJV+
*And we have known and believed the love
that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1Jn 4:16
*If
you then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how
much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Lk 11:13 NKJV+
Or, we can follow our sinful mind which
can never please God, and live in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the
desires of our body and mind; and become children of wrath.
*the sinful
mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law,
nor can it do so. Those controlled by
the sinful nature cannot please God. Ro
8:7-8 NIV+
*among
whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature
children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. Eph 2:3 ESV+
2. God gives us the indwelling Spirit as down payment of our
eternal inheritance
When we give up our human will and
accept the will of our Heavenly Father; He gives us the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit as an earnest (like earnest money is a deposit: KJV, ASV), a deposit (NIV+) or down payment of our
inheritance (NASB+ footnotes; ESV+ footnotes), until we are completely God’s children, His possession. We
know this is just a down payment not a guarantee, because the Jews who had
received the indwelling of the Spirit; yet had the Spirit taken out of their
hearts and were not saved in 4 below.
*In Him , you also, after listening to the message of truth,
the gospel of your salvation—having
also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge [Or a down payment] of our inheritance, with
a view to the redemption of God's own
possession, to the praise of His glory. Eph 1:14 NASB+
*Now
He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also
sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge [Or
a down payment]. 2Cor 1:21-22 NASB+
*Now
He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge [Or
a down payment]. 2Co 5:5 NASB+
3. Our Father foreknew who would be his children; never
taken from His hand
When Jesus told us no one could take
God’s children out of His hand, His Father’s hand; He was referring to those
who were foreknown by His Father before the world was created. Those our Father
knew would give up our will and allow the Spirit to guide us the rest of our
lives. And these He predestined, called, justified, and glorified to be His
children forever; according to the good pleasure of His will.
*My sheep hear My
voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they
shall never perish; neither shall
anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father,
who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them
out of My Father's hand. Jn 10:27-29 NKJV+
*For
those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of
his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many
brothers. And those whom he predestined he
also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. Ro 8:29-30 ESV+
*just
as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be
holy and without blame before Him in
love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His
will, Eph 1:4-5 NKJV+
Foreknowledge, predestined does not
mean that we do not have to run the race against satan, the world, our flesh; to obtain our prize of
being Children of God. Paul tells we have to run the race to become, remain
children of God until we physically die or Jesus returns; as our Father
refines, makes us more in the image of Jesus. We have to control our mind and
body which will war against out spiritual being where the Holy Spirit dwells;
so we are not disqualified, the Spirit is not driven out of our spiritual
being.
*Therefore we also, since we are
surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us,
and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Heb 12:1 NKJV+
*Do
you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one
gets the prize? Run in such a
way as to get the prize. Everyone
who competes in the games goes into
strict training. They do it to get a crown not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly;
I do not fight like a man beating the
air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 1Co 9:24-27 NIV+
Children of God know our Father will not
tempt us for more than we can handle; nor can we ever be separated from the
love of Jesus.
*No
temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is
faithful, who will not allow you
to be tempted beyond what you are able,
but with the temptation will also make
the way of escape, that you may be
able to bear it. 1Co 10:13 NKJV+
*For
I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers,
nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in
all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God in
Christ Jesus our Lord. Ro 8:38-39 ESV+
Yet our physical mind and body will
always be sinful; only our spiritual being (soul and spirit) can become righteous, holy. Only when we have the indwelling
of the Spirit and we allow Him to rule over our physical mind can we become
children of God. Only those who are led by the Spirit are children of God, and
if our mind ever reaches the point of loving something else more than our God;
it can push the Spirit out of our hearts. We must be willing to share in
Christ’s sufferings to share in His glory.
*I
say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are
contrary to one another, so that you
do not do the things that you wish. Gal 5:16-17 NKJV+
*The
Spirit himself testifies with our spirit
that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs
of God and co-heirs with Christ, if
indeed we share in his sufferings in
order that we may also share in his glory Ro 8:16-17 NIV+
Easiest way to describe a child of God: one who has the
indwelling of the Holy Spirit; and allows our mind to be led by Him.
*You,
however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone
who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
Ro
8:9 ESV+
*For
all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive
the spirit of slavery to fall back into
fear, but you have received the
Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom
we cry, “Abba! Father!” Ro 8:26 ESV+
Some sins can push the Spirit out of
our hearts; some are unforgiveable.
4. Blaspheme the Holy Spirit; an unforgiveable sin
It will always be first for the Jew,
then the Gentle. This includes the Jewish being the first to receive the
indwelling of the Holy Spirit; the first to push the Spirit out of their hearts,
and no longer remain children of God.
*I
am not ashamed of the gospel,
because it is the power of God for
the salvation of everyone who believes:
first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
Ro
1:16 NIV+
*There
will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for
the Gentile; Ro 2:9 NIV+
Some of the Jewish people had accepted
Christ as their Savior; yet pushed the Holy Spirit out of their hearts, turned
away from Christ’s grace, because as Christians they were being persecuted. In
turning back to their Jewish ways, they insulted the Holy Spirit; by denying
that the Spirit had sanctified them, made them holy children of God; by the
blood Jesus shed on the cross. They committed the unforgiveable sin of blaspheming
the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven; and were lost forever.
*For
in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have
been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then
have fallen away, it is impossible
to renew them again to repentance,
since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open
shame. Heb 6:4-6 NASB+
*Anyone
who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three
witnesses. How much severer
punishment do you think he will
deserve who has trampled under foot the Son
of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:28-29 NASB+
*For
we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And
again, “The Lord will judge his people.”
It is a fearful thing to fall into the
hands of the living God. Heb 10:30-31 ESV+
The past tense of the words has, was, once been; shows those
who have fallen away had been sanctified; were partakers of Holy Spirit
so they had received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. They had been children
of God, and one with Christ. When they pushed the Holy Spirit out of their
hearts, they did it in such a manner that they insulted the Holy Spirit,
blasphemed Him which is an unforgiveable sin, which will never be forgiven, and
they are now in Hades.
Jesus received His power from the Holy
Spirit when He was anointed by the Spirit to begin His ministry. When scribes
said Jesus was casting out demons by the power of the devil (Beelzebub) they were calling the Spirit the devil; for the Spirit had
given Jesus the power to cast out the demons. These scribes had blasphemed the
Spirit and will spend eternity in Hades.
*And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebub," and, "By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons." Mk 3:22 NKJV+
Jesus told us any who blasphemes the
Holy Spirit has committed an unforgiveable eternal sin; even if they were given
the indwelling of the Spirit. They will never be children of God, will never
inherit the Kingdom of God, and face eternal judgment in Hell. That is why Paul
tells every believer who God has sealed with a deposit to be His children; not
to grieve the Holy Spirit, and have their inheritance taken away.
*“Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they
utter, but whoever blasphemes
against the Holy Spirit never has
forgiveness, but is guilty of an
eternal sin”—
Mk
3:28-29 ESV+
*And do not grieve the Holy Spirit
of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Eph 4:30 ESV+
5. God’s children who willfully keep on sinning; will not
have their sins forgiven
The writer of Hebrews was writing to the
righteous Jewish Christians, saints
who had been given the indwelling of the Spirit. The writer warned these
believers, all other believers who will have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit;
if any righteous one shrinks back,
God has no pleasure in them; they will no longer be children of God. Paul
warned us if we do not discipline ourselves, we can push the Holy Spirit out of
our hearts and become disqualified; no longer a child of God.
*but my righteous one shall live
by faith, and if he shrinks back, my
soul has no pleasure in him.” Heb 10:38 ESV+
*You
are all sons of God through faith in
Christ Jesus, Gal 3:26 NIV+
*Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as
not beating the air; but I
discipline my body and make it my
slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. 1Co
9:26-27 NASB+
This shrinking back was caused by a
problem which the writer included himself in for the word we is used (whether Paul, Apollos, or Barnabas wrote Hebrews; all were
righteous believers). This includes along with the righteous Jewish believers of
this day, us as righteous believers today. If we go on willfully sinning after receiving the truth from the Holy Spirit
which allows Him to live in our hearts; there no longer remains a sacrifice for
our sins. There is only a terrifying expectation of judgment; and a fire which
will consume us.
*For
if we go on sinning willfully
after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a
fire which will consume the
adversaries. Heb 10:26-28 NASB+
* However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He
will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will
speak; and He will tell you things to come. Jn 16:13 NKJV+
Our physical being, our body and mind
inherited Adam’s original sin; it will always be sinful and must die. Yet our
spiritual being our soul and spirit can become righteous through Christ’s grace
on the cross; if we surrender the will in our physical minds, and accept the
will of our Father; who then gives us the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The
Spirit then introduces us to Jesus, gives us the faith, the ability to love our
God above all things; and we become children of God, heirs of Heaven.
*I tell you this,
brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable
inherit the imperishable.
1Co
15:50 ESV+
*If
Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit
is alive because of righteousness. Ro 8:10 NASB+
*Therefore I make known to you that no
one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by
the Holy Spirit. 1Co 12:3 NKJV+
Yet while we are physically alive, the
original sin we inherited in our body and mind from Adam,
will always be embedded in our flesh. And this sin will always be able to
control our physical mind and body, will always cause
us to commit sins; even when within our physical mind we are trying not to
commit them.
*For
I know that nothing good dwells in
me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right,
but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. Ro 7:18-20 ESV+
We will always face the battle of who
controls our minds so we can discern the will of God; for our mature minds
control not only our physical being, but our spiritual being, our soul and
spirit as well. When we walk in the Spirit He lives in our hearts and
continually sanctifies us; forgives the sins we will commit, even those sins
which we do not even realize we have committed immediately; by our faith in Jesus. This allows our spiritual being
to remain holy, so the Spirit can remain living in our hearts; and we will
remain holy children of God. Later because we love Jesus we will be sorry for
committing any sin, and will repent to our Savior; though we know by our faith
in Him, Jesus has already forgive all of our sins.
*Do
not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal
of your mind, that by testing you may
discern what is the will of God,
what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Ro
12:2 ESV+
*to open
their eyes so that they may turn
from darkness to light and from the dominion
of Satan to God, that they may
receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance
among those who have been sanctified
by faith in Me.' Ac 26:18 NASB+
But when we no longer strive to
overcome the sin which will always dwell within our physical being, our mind
will begin to follow the desires of the flesh until they overcome our mind.
Then our sinful mind will rule over our spiritual being, will make it sinful
also; and the Holy Spirit which can live only in a holy place, will be pushed
out of our hearts, and we are no longer children of God.
*There is therefore now no condemnation
to those who are in Christ Jesus,
who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of
sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness
of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous
requirement of the law might be
fulfilled in us who do not walk
according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Ro 8:1-4 NKJV+
It is very dangerous to believe once saved always saved; for
this can give one a false confidence. It is easy for one to be more tolerant
towards sin, for God won’t mind this one little sin, if they do not do it
often; and since they are once saved, always saved, what is there to be worried
about. Soon one willful sin leads to another, until the Spirit is pushed out of
their hearts; without them realizing they are no longer Children of God. There
is no sacrifice for sin for those who believed they are saved, but are not; for
if they believe the lie that they have already been saved; why should they
change and put God’s will over their will. This will happen to even those who
were given the power of the Spirit to prophesy, cast our demons, and perform
miracles; they will lose their faith which made them children of God, and
become children of wrath.
*"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but
he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. "Many
will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And
then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; Depart from Me, you
who practice lawlessness
.' Matt 7:21-23 NASB+
All can be assured we are a child of God, will inherit
Heaven when we relinquish our human will to our God, accept the will of our
Father, allow the Holy Spirit to come into our hearts, are led by Him forever; so
we continue in the faith. We will all be able to finish our race, and will
win the crown of righteousness; eternal life with Jesus in a glorified body
like His.
*yet
He has now reconciled you in His fleshly
body through death, in order to
present you before Him holy and blameless
and beyond reproach— if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast,
and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard,
which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was
made a minister . Col 1:22-23 NASB+
*I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I
have kept the faith. Finally,
there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will
give to me on that Day, and not to
me only but also to all who have loved
His appearing. 2Ti 4:7-8 NKJV+
See 10: Holy Spirit will give us time to overcome our sins;
by interceding for our sins, according to the will of Our Father
6. Who will not forgive others who have sinned against them
When someone has wronged us in anyway,
our physical mind has the free will to choose; whether to forgive them, or not
forgive them for what they have done. Believers who are led by the Spirit will
want to forgive them; because if we do not forgive those who have wronged us,
our Father will not continue to forgive us.
*"For
if you forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But
if you do not forgive men their
trespasses, neither will your Father
forgive your trespasses. Matt 6:14-15 NKJV+
This sounds deceptively easy, and is in
many simple situations. Often the offender says they are sorry, the one
offended simply says that is alright; although a grudge may be held for a short
time. But in some more serious matters, whether financial, physical, or
personal, it can be very hard for believers to forgive those who have wronged
them. It can even be harder to forget the incident without being vindictive to
the one who hurt us; some believe destroyed their lives. And the hardest is to pray
that Jesus will help those who have caused us so much pain.
When we have problems forgiving others,
forgetting what they have done, and praying for them; the Spirit continues to
sanctify us, forgive our sins immediately, so we can remain holy children of
God. Yet at some point of time we must be willing to forgive those who have
wronged us, forget it ever happened pray for them, and love them as ourselves.
Or our Father will not forgive our sins, whether we are a child of God or not,
the Spirit will be pushed out of our hearts, and we will no longer be a child
of God.
*For
I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." Heb
8:12 NIV+
*Then
his master summoned him and said to him, ‘You
wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on
you?’ And in anger his master
delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt. So also my
heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.” Matt 18:32-35 ESV+
*"But
I tell you who hear me: Love your
enemies, do good
to those who hate you, bless
those who curse you, pray for those
who mistreat you. If someone
strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to
you. Lk 6:27-31 NIV+
See 10: Holy Spirit will give us time to overcome our sins;
by interceding for our sins, according to the will of Our Father
7. Try to be saved by our own human efforts
Paul tells the Galatians who had
received the Spirit; they had been bewitched, because they were now trying to
save themselves by following the Old Covenant laws. All the suffering and
persecution they had been put through by the Jews and unbelievers was for
nothing; if they no longer believed in the gospel, for they were no longer
saved.
*You
foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you?
Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I
would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing
what you heard? Are you so foolish?
After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by
human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing--if it really was for
nothing? Gal 3:1-3
Paul likewise told the Corinthians who
received the gospel, and took a stand in its truth by which they were saved. If
they did not hold fast to the gospel Paul preached, and no longer believed they
would be physically resurrected from the dead; Paul’s preaching and the faith
the Corinthians had was in vain. For they had lost their salvation, they were
no longer children of God, they were no longer saved.
*Moreover,
brethren, I declare to you the gospel
which I preached to you, which also
you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached
to you--unless you believed in vain.
1Co
15:1-2 NKJV+
*Now
if Christ is proclaimed as raised from
the dead, how can some of you say
that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even
Christ has been raised. And if
Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in
vain. 1Co 15:12-14 ESV+
See 10: Holy Spirit will give us time to overcome our sin;
by interceding for our sins, according to the will of Our Father
8. Falling away from God; apostasy
There will be many who fall away from
the faith, which makes us children of God. This was happening in Paul’s time,
is happening in our time also. Our society has embraced all the sinful
pleasures of drugs, sexual immorality, abortion; the constant social media
attack and mockery on Christians, Christian values; even Jesus is blasphemed on
television, movies, the arts. The liberal antichristian views being taught in
our schools, our colleges, are inspired by satan, his demons; through the hypocrisy of those who
think they are smarter than God. This is pulling the faithful away from our
God, especially the younger generation.
*You
are all sons of God through faith in
Christ Jesus, Gal 3:26 NIV+
*But
the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from
the faith, paying attention to deceitful
spirits and doctrines of
demons, by means of the hypocrisy
of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 1Ti 4:1-3
NASB+
*For
our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against
the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph 6:12 NASB+
This falling away will continue,
intensify as the time for Jesus to return comes closer; as congregations will
want teachers to suit their own desires, turn away from the truth, and follow
human ideals. There will also be great falling away just before the antichrist/man
of sin/beast comes into power; and our nation is already experiencing it as the
Bible is being replaced by the lies of the politically correct agenda of the
liberal elites.
*For the time is coming when people
will not endure sound teaching, but having
itching ears they will accumulate
for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2Ti 4:3-4 ESV+
*Let no one in any way deceive you, for it
will not come unless the apostasy [or falling away from
the faith] comes first, and
the man of lawlessness is revealed,
the son of destruction, 2Thess 2:3 NASB+
See 10: Holy Spirit will give us time to overcome this sin;
by interceding for our sins, according to the will of Our Father
9. Revelation has 2 sins which are never forgiven
Many believers do not take Revelation
seriously; they believe the apocalyptic language is too hard for them to
understand, the world is not going to end in their lifetime; and Revelation’s
gory picture of death, the Lake of Fire is not something they want to study.
Yet our Father would have us be prepared for what will happen to all of us when
Jesus returns in power; the events which are close to happening now, since the
Jewish people have come back to Israel. And our Father would have us warn the
wicked what will be in store for them; for if we do not warn the wicked, they
will die in sin, but there blood will be upon us for not warning them. If we
warn them about what the Word of God tell us, and they do not believe; they
will die in their sin; but we will save our soul.
*If
I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked
to turn from his way, and he does
not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity,
but you will have delivered your soul.
Eze 33:8-9 ESV+
Revelation is the explicit words from
Jesus (some
from the Father also) through John; and is an
important warning for all generations. For all generations will receive
blessings for just reading it, blessings for hearing it, and blessings for
those who take to heart what is written. For all generations will face
tribulation as our Father tests our faith, to see who is worthy to be His
children; and all will ultimately wind up in God’s Kingdom or Hell.
*Blessed
is
the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed
are those who hear it and take to
heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Rev 1:3 NIV+
9a. An unforgiveable sin: If a believer takes away
from the words in Revelation,
Because of the importance of this
message and prophecies from Jesus; anyone who takes away from the words of this
prophecy shall never share in the tree of life in Heaven, will never be saved,
whether children of God or unbelievers. This does not mean those who are
sincerely trying to translate this book; but those who take any words from this
message, or modify them so the message will be different. One should also be
very wary about any who try and change the order of the events in this book.
*I
warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of
this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this
book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share
in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described
in this book. Rev 22:18-19 ESV+
9b. An unforgiveable sin: if any
takes the mark of beast, they go to the Lake of Fire, Hell
We should all be prepared to die for
Jesus, be prepared to love Jesus more than our family; even as it now happening
to Christians in Moslem countries, in North Korea, and other countries.
Christians are being killed because they will not renounce their Savior; their
children are murdered before their very eyes for not denying Jesus is their
Lord. This will continue to escalate until the antichrist comes to make all
proclaim him as god or die. And if any worships the antichrist/man of
sin/beast, takes his mark which means we believe he is god; child of God or
unbeliever have the wrath of God poured out on them; will be tormented in the
Lake of Fire/Hell forever.
*Then a third angel followed them,
saying with a loud voice, "If anyone
worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full
strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and
brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the
Lamb. And the smoke of their torment
ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship
the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." Rev 14:9-11 NKJV+
We realize many believe Revelation is spiritual and the
physical events in it will not happen, others that believers will be raptured
to Heaven 7 years or 3½ years before the antichrist/man of sin/beast comes. We
believe we will not be gathered up (raptured) by Jesus until after the 3½ years
of the great tribulation of the antichrist/man of sin/beast is over; but before
the wrath of God. Yet we should all be prepared and ready to meet Jesus if we
should die this very minute, or not until the of the
reign of the antichrist/man of sin/beast is over. We will be glad to discuss
when Jesus will return in God’s Word with anyone. See Tribulation; Jesus Returns (Gathers Up/Raptures
Believers); God’s Wrath
10. Have indwelling of the Holy Spirit; He intercedes for
us.
When the Holy Spirit is living in our
hearts He continually sanctifies us, forgives our sins as we commit them. As
long as we are sorry for the sins we commit, strive to stop doing them, and let
the Spirit guide us as we study God’s Word and prayer. to become stronger so we
can follow Jesus. So we our physical minds can become stronger in avoiding the
sins we will continually be enticed to commit, by the original sin which is
embedded within them.
*that I might be a minister
of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of
God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by
the Holy Spirit. Ro 15:16 NKJV+
Jesus is the vine, those in Jesus are
the branches, and our Father will prune the vines. The vines who
produce fruit will be pruned by our Father to produce more fruit; and the vines
who do not produce fruit when they should will be cut down and burned.
*“I
am the true vine, and my Father is
the vinedresser. Every branch in me
that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more
fruit. Jn 15:1-2 ESV+
The fruit we produce for our God is love, for that is what
our God wants. For our free will to love our God is all we have to give Him;
everything else He has given us. And only that which is done out of love to our
God will please Him. A rich unbeliever can give a billion dollars to keep needy
children from starving; yet that gift does not produce fruit for our God, that
vine will but cut down and thrown into the fire for it did not produce fruit
for out God, was not done out of love for Him.
There are many ways we can produce fruit for our God, show
the love we have for Him. Whether by praising our God making Him number one in
our lives, telling all about Him, thanking our God for all He has done for us,
just talking to Him, loving and helping others as we would have wanted to
treated them; as we do the work our Father had planned for us to do before the
world was created.
* If I speak in the
tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a
clanging cymbal. And if I have
prophetic powers, and understand all
mysteries and all knowledge, and
if I have all faith, so as to remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver
up my body to be burned, but have
not love, I gain nothing. 1Co 13:1-3 ESV+
*And
now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1Co 13:13 NIV+
There can come a time when our physical
mind is overcome by a sin or sins, and sin can start controlling our mind, our
lives; though we still love our God above all things. When this happens the
Spirit intercedes for us, continues to sanctify us, according to our Father’s
will; until we can once more be able to control our sinful desire; with the
help of our Father through prayer, by talking with Jesus, or letting the Spirit
guide as we read the Word of God. Until we can overcome the temptation we are
confronted with, and the Spirit once against is leading our physical mind to
follow our God.
*Likewise
the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we
do not know what we should pray for as
we ought, but the Spirit Himself
makes intercession for us with groanings which
cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of
the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Ro 8:26-27 NKJV+
The Spirit will also intercede for any in whose heart He is
living, if our mind does not function correctly for any reason; whether our
minds are physically injured, become mentally ill, or for elderly believers
whose minds deteriorate. The Spirit will do this until our physical mind heals
or dies, or until Jesus returns again.
Just as the parable of the Fig tree;
the Father can have patience in not removing the Spirit from one’s heart if it
does not bear fruit, even extend the time a little longer. But there will be a
time if one does not bear fruit; they will be cut off from our God forever.
*And
he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three
years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’ And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. Then if it should bear fruit next year,
well and good; but if not, you can cut
it down.’ ” Lk 13:6
Our Father knows those whose hearts the
Spirit lives in, but now have chosen to follow their flesh and not the Spirit.
a. For those our Father foreknew would accept His will once
more, He gives them the time to come back to Him; by allowing the Spirit to
intercede for them. Like the verse above
b. Our Father will put through
tribulation those who need to be tested, so they have the chance to repent and
be born again. Like the prodigal son (Lk 15:11-32).
c. Those our Father knows will never
submit their will to Him; our Father takes the Spirit from their hearts and
they are eternally lost. Like the Jewish believers in 4. above
We know we are saved if the Spirit
lives in our hearts, and we are led by Him all the days of our lives; for then
Jesus and our Father will continually live in our hearts also. We should always
be prepared with the help of the Spirit to fight against committing the sins
which can overcome us; we must run, persevere, and win the race against our
flesh, satan, and the world,
for the crown of life.
*By
this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have
seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as
Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in
him, and he in God.
*For
the one who sows to his own flesh
will from the flesh reap corruption,
but the one who sows to the Spirit will from
the Spirit reap eternal life. Gal 6:8 ESV+
Always thanking and praising our great God for all He has
done for us.
*But
we ought always to thank God for you,
brothers loved by the Lord, because from
the beginning God chose you to be
saved through the sanctifying work
of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 2Thess 2:13 NIV+
