Love
and Hate
Because
of love; there is hate
And without hate
there can be no love
Because our God
loved us, we love Him back
Because our God
hates sin; we also hate sin
Because we love
all other people, we hate anything evil which will hurt them
We hate anything
that will give them evil thoughts, so they will do evil
We also hate the evil things we do; any
evil thoughts we have in our mind
And because we hate evil, repent when we do
it; we will overcome evil
So we can come into Paradise and live forever
with our Lord
*Then one of the scribes came,
and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them
well, asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?" Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is:
'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with
all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your
strength.' This is the first commandment. And the second,
like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than
these." Mk 12:28-31 NKJV+
*Love
must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be
devoted to one another in brotherly
love. Ro 12:9-13 NIV+
*Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Ro 12:21 ESV+
*'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in
the Paradise
of God.' Rev 2:7 NASB+
