The Jewish Revival

The Jewish Revival fulfills many prophesies

All believers are all spiritually one with Christ, children of our Heavenly Father, and heirs of Heaven. This includes all believers who are physically living here on earth, and all who have died, are spiritually living in Heaven above. This includes all believers from the Old Covenant, as well as all believers from the New Covenant, includes both Jews and Gentiles.

*For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:26 NKJV+

*There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:28 NASB+

*For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Heb 9:15 NIV+

Yet while we physically live here on earth there will always be a distinction between the two nations our God has chosen to make His own. There will always be a difference between the Jewish people of Israel, and the rest of the people who inhabit the earth, the Gentiles.

*This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar-- the Lord Almighty is his name: "Only if these decrees vanish from my sight," declares the Lord, "will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me. Jer 31:35-36 NIV+

*”For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Dt 7:6-8 NKJV+

Our God created the nation of Israel, the Jewish people through Abraham, the man of faith. Our Heavenly Father talked with Abraham, made many covenants with him. The Lord promised Abraham he would have heirs as numerous as the stars in heaven. And Christ would come from Abraham’s seed, would bless all nations, and save them from their sins.

*and said, "By Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.“ In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." Gen 22:16-18 NASB+

*Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. Gal 3:16 NKJV+

Salvation would come to all believers through the nation of Israel. Our Father would give His laws to Israel, teach them how to worship. The Messiah who saved us all also came from Israel, was born a Jew, was Jesus.

*He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel. He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!  Ps 147:19-20 NASB+

*You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. Jn 4:22 NKJV+

*"From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised. Ac 13:23 NIV+

Jesus was a Jew, yet we must remember Jesus also had women in His geneology who were Gentiles. Rahab was from Jericho, and Ruth was a Moabite. The Gentiles were also part of Jesus, would receive His grace.

*Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, Matt 1:5 NIV+

*Now Joshua the son of Nun sent out two men from Acacia Grove to spy secretly, saying, "Go, view the land, especially Jericho." So they went, and came to the house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there. Josh 2:1 NKJV+

*So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. Now they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest. Ru 1:22 NKJV+

Salvation, glory, and wrath would always be first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

*For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Ro 1:16 NKJV+

*but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Ro 2:10 NASB+

*tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; Ro 2:9 NKJV+

A remnant of Gentiles, aliens who lived with the Jewish people, who obeyed God, would also be given salvation as though they were Jews.

*The whole Israelite community and the aliens living among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong. Num 15:26 NIV+

*"You shall divide it by lot for an inheritance among yourselves and among the aliens who stay in your midst, who bring forth sons in your midst. And they shall be to you as the native-born among the sons of Israel; they shall be allotted an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. Eze 47:22 NASB+

Our Father also gave a covenant, a promise to Abraham, to give all of his descendants a physical piece of land. All of Canaan, which is now the country of Israel, was given by God to Abraham and his descendants, forever.

*Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." Gen 17:8 NKJV+

*All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. Gen 13:15 NIV+

Israel first took possession of the Promised Land after God released this nation from their captivity in Egypt.

*You also multiplied their children as the stars of heaven, And brought them into the land Which You had told their fathers To go in and possess. So the people went in And possessed the land; You subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, The Canaanites, And gave them into their hands, With their kings And the people of the land, That they might do with them as they wished. Neh 9:23-24 NKJV+

*"So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant--when you have eaten and are full---  Dt 6:10-11 NKJV+

But after Israel had come into the Promised Land they would forget to follow our Lord’s commands. Time after time Israel would go against their God, and He would abandon them, allowing nations to take them captive. But when they would repent, He would rescue them once more.

*then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Dt 6:12 NKJV+

*"But as soon as they were at rest, they again did what was evil in your sight. Then you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies so that they ruled over them. And when they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven, and in your compassion you delivered them time after time. Neh 9:28 NIV+

Our Heavenly Father sent His Son into the world to save us from our sins. But the ruling majority of Israel loved the praise of men more than the praise of their God, would not accept Jesus. So our Father hardened the hearts, closed the minds of all but a chosen few, so they could not know their Savior and be saved.

*What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; just as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor , Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day." Ro 11:7-8 NASB+

*for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jn 12:43 NKJV+

*"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them." Jn 12:40 NKJV+

Since the majority of the Jewish people rejected Jesus, our Heavenly Father called the Gentiles to become His children. He gave the gospel, and salvation to the Gentiles.

*Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. Ro 11:11 NIV+

* As he says in Hosea: "I will call them 'my people' who are not my people; and I will call her 'my loved one' who is not my loved one," and, "It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.' Ro 9:25-26 NIV+

A small remnant of Jewish believers was also chosen by our Heavenly Father to be His children along with the Gentiles. This included the early Jewish believers who followed the Apostles (Paul, Peter, John, James, and the rest of the early leaders), to a remnant of Jewish believers today. When the Jewish people were the majority being saved, there was also a Gentile remnant saved, and as the Gentile people are now the majority being saved, there is also a Jewish remnant being saved. This remnant will be part of the larger remnant of all Israel who will be saved below.

*even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also the Gentiles? Ro 9:24 NIV+

*Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Ro 11:5 NKJV+

Christ is the seed of Abraham, and all who believe in Christ become spiritually one with Him. Through Christ we are spiritually grafted into Israel, become children of God. Note: See top of page - Physically there will always be Jews and Gentiles, yet spiritually we are all one in Christ.

*Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, "And to seeds," as referring to many, but rather to one, "And to your seed," that is, Christ. Gal 3:16 NASB+

*And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal 3:29 NKJV+

*In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Eph 3:4-6 NIV+

The Lord God judged Israel 40 years after they crucified Jesus, pouring out His wrath on them. Israel had not accepted Jesus, defiled the land with their ways and idols. In 70 AD the Roman army brutally defeated the Jewish people at Jerusalem. A few escaped the massacre, many were killed, and the rest were scattered as slaves all over the world. Israel was no longer united together as a nation, they no longer had a country of their own. The temple at Jerusalem was completely destroyed as Jesus had prophesied, ending the Old Covenant sacrificial laws, which Jesus replaced with His death on the cross.

*Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, "Son of man, when the house of Israel was living in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds; their way before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity." Therefore I poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols. "Also I scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them. Eze 36:16-19 NASB+

*Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, "Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!" And Jesus answered and said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down."  Mk 13:1-2 NKJV+

The Lord destroyed the nation of Israel because of their sins, but He will never destroy the house of Jacob, the Jewish people. He promised to plant Israel once more in the Promised Land He gave them, and never uproot them from it again.

*"For I will give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, and not a pebble will reach the ground. All the sinners among my people will die by the sword, all those who say, 'Disaster will not overtake or meet us.' Am 9:9-10 NIV+

*"Surely the eyes of the Sovereign Lord are on the sinful kingdom. I will destroy it from the face of the earth-- yet I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob," declares the Lord Am 9:8 NIV+

*I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them," says the Lord your God. Am 9:15 NIV+

Jesus told us after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD, the city would be trampled on by Gentiles. Until the correct number of Gentiles has entered into the Kingdom of God.

*For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Lk 21:22-24 NKJV+

*For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; Ro 11:25 NASB+

The fullness of the Gentiles refers to the number of Gentiles our Father will save, before He opens the eyes of all Israel to His plan of salvation, to the grace of Jesus Christ. Then our Heavenly Father will wash away the sins of all the Jewish people who seek our Savior, and put the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Baptism of the Spirit

*For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "The deliverer will come from Zion , He will remove ungodliness from Jacob." Ro 11:25-26 NASB+

*"For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Eze 36:24-26 NASB+

All Israel refers to the remnant of the Jewish people who will seek out our Savior after the fullness of the Gentiles has happened. Two thirds of Israel has or will be cut off from redemption, the remaining third will be saved. There will also continue to be Gentile believers who will come to Jesus and be saved, until Jesus returns for us.

*Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved. Ro 9:27 NIV+

*And it shall come to pass in all the land," Says the Lord, "That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it: I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.'"  Zech 13:8-9 NKJV+

*"'After this I will return and rebuild David's fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it,  that the remnant of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things Ac 15:16-17 NIV+

Israel almost 2000 years later, in 1948, would be brought back to the Promised Land, would be united as a the nation of Israel on this land. The Lord God did not do it for their sake, but to prove He was God, to sanctify His great name.

*"Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord God: "I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord," says the Lord God, "when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.  Eze 36:22-24 NKJV+

*"Therefore behold, the days are coming," declares the Lord, "when they will no longer say, 'As the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,' but, 'As the Lord lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.' Then they will live on their own soil."  Jer 23:7-8 NASB+

Our Heavenly Father will always remember His chosen people of Israel, they are our brothers and sisters in the family of God.

*" This is what the Lord says: "Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done," declares the Lord. Jer 31:37 NIV+

* Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Ro 11:27-29 NKJV+

*For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. Ro 11:30-31 NKJV+

As we bless Israel, so our Heavenly Father will bless us.

*I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Gen 12:3 NKJV+

Here are a few prophecies about Israel’s revival: Read Ezekiel chapter 36

Nation born in one day – Israel was created in one day, when UN documents were signed on May 14, 1948, making the nation of Israel a country.

*Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children. Isa 66:8 NIV+

Israel became one nation again - This is the first time Israel has ruled over this land as one nation since the time of Solomon.

*and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. Eze 37:22 NKJV+

Almost 6 million Jewish people have returned to Israel

*Then say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; Eze 37:21 NKJV+

Israel has returned from the north, south, all nations.

*I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' And to the south, 'Do not keep them back!' Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth-- Isa 43:6 NKJV+

Israel has used drip irrigation to make the desolate bloom, a defense to protect her cities.

*"They will say, 'This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited. Eze 36:25 NASB+

We can all see how the Lord has rebuilt Israel, and made her productive once more.

*Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will do it."  Eze 36:36 NKJV+

Israel regained control of Jerusalem - In 1967. Gentiles no longer control this city.

*and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Lk 21:24 NASB+

Jerusalem will be the cause of confrontations, troubles, and fighting until the end comes.

*"Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. Zech 12:2 NASB+

The Lord will pour out the Holy Spirit upon the Jewish people.

*"I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. "You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. Eze 36:27-28 NASB+

Jesus will not return again until the Jewish nation has accepted Him, when those who are in Jerusalem say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”

*"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'" Lk 13:34-35 NIV+
