Heaven is our Home Part 1. Being rewritten, working on now
After we die; a
spiritual rest for believers until we receive glorified bodies
Minds memory lost; only
through Jesus see earth, contact believers there
*But our
citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior,
the Lord Jesus

a Believer dies; soul-spirit-heart goes to Heaven; body-mind-conscience turn to dust
2. Saints

replaced by our spirit; has only pure thoughts; know believers, not unbelievers

1. Today if a Believer dies; soul-spirit-heart goes to Heaven; body-mind-conscience turn to dust
We are talking about all believers
after Christ’s atoning grace on the cross; after Jesus human spiritual being
offered His sacrifice at God’s Temple in the 2nd Heaven which no one
could come into until Jesus died for their sins. From Adam until Christ’s
atoning death on the cross no one could come into God’s holy 2nd
Heaven which is above the earth and the 1st heaven over the earth
which satan is prince
(ruler) over. Those faithful to God when their physical body died their
spiritual being would first go into God’s Rest, which later would expand into
Abraham’s Bosom. Zz

* Heb
9:15
Today believers are under
Christ’s atoning grace which began when Jesus human physical being died on the
cross and His human spiritual being carried all of believers sin to Hades and
then Jesus led all out of Abraham’s bosom, into to Paradise the Kingdom of
Heaven. Later that day after Jesus spiritual being had forgiven believers sins;
Jesus took the thief on the cross spiritual being and he died; to Paradise to
be with Jesus forever.
zzToday when a believer physically dies our spiritual being
is taken into the Kingdom of Heaven, Kingdom of God all refer to the place our
God rules from; they are where God’s throne is. From the
heavenly realms in the highest part of our universe, to the heavenly realms
above of our earth, to the earth itself.
*And he was saying, "Jesus,
remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" And
He said to him, "Truly I say to
you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."
Lk 23:42-43 NASB+
*Rejoice and be
exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so
they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matt 5:12 NKJV+
*"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall
enter the kingdom of heaven, but he
who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matt 7:21 NKJV+
*And if your eye causes you to
sin, pluck it out. It is better for
you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire Mk
9:47 NKJV+
Yet the kingdom of God can
also refer to where God’s Kingdom extends down from Heaven into in our hearts;
when the Holy Spirit comes into them, lives there.
*nor will they say, 'See here!' or
'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within
you." Lk 17:21 NKJV+
*for
the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace
and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro 14:17 NKJV+
In Part 2.
We will discuss Christ’s 1,000 year Kingdom on earth, and God’s New Kingdom of
heaven and earth.
So Jesus may dwell in our
hearts also, and our spirit becomes one spirit with Jesus. Because our
spiritual being is one with Jesus, they are united with Jesus as He sits on the
Throne of God in Heaven. When we physically die, our spiritual being goes to
where they have already been in Jesus; to our Father’s kingdom in Heaven.
*that according to the riches of
his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his
Spirit in your inner being, so that
Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and
grounded in love, Eph
3:16-17 ESV+
*But he who is joined to the Lord
is one spirit with Him. 1Co 6:17 NKJV+
*and raised us up with Him,
and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph 2:6 NASB+
Be careful not to confuse the heaven Ezekiel
was taken to, or about the story about Lazarus and the poor man who went to
Abraham’s Bosom when he died. God took Ezekiel to a beautiful rest which was
located in the heavenly realms over earth, which was later called Abraham’s
Bosom. Because the rest was in the Heavenly realms of earth, the spiritual
beings there may have been able to see earth; because satan
is the prince over the Heavenly realms of earth; those in the rest could see,
communicate with those in Hades, and those in Hades could see, communicate with
those in the rest. Now when believers die, tour spiritual beings are taken
directly to God’s spiritual rest in His Holy Kingdom in Heaven; where only
through Jesus, if it is Father’s will, can any see or communicate with earth,
with Hades. See 6 below
*Therefore, since the promise of
entering his rest still stands, let
us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the gospel preached to us,
just as they did; but
the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. Heb 4:1-2 NIV+
*For if Joshua had given them
rest, God would not have spoken of
another day later on. So then, there
remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as
God did from his. Heb
4:8-10 ESV+
When we die our physical
being (body-mind-conscience)
will return to the dust which created it. And
our spiritual being (soul-spirit-heart) will
either go to Heaven if we have accepted the Holy Spirit into our hearts; or to Hades if we
have not given up our human will and accepted Jesus as our Savior. Just as the
people of Capernaum who rejected Jesus; were not exalted to Heaven, but brought
down to Hades.
*But if Christ is in you, your
body is dead because of sin, yet
your spirit is alive because of righteousness. Ro 8:10 NIV+
*and the dust
returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Eccl 12:7 ESV+
*And you, Capernaum, will you be
exalted to heaven? You shall be
brought down to Hades. Lk 10:15 ESV+
We know our spiritual being is tight
unit, like a physical joint or marrow in a bone; it is hard to separate our
soul from our spirit which lives within our soul. Our spirit is our spiritual
being’s thought process, which makes decisions, and contains our spiritual
being’s memory. Our heart is the part of our spirit which makes our moral
decisions for us. Jesus can separate our soul and spirit to judge the thoughts
and intentions of hearts; and if we love Him above all things, comes to live in
our hearts. Whether the Word of God refers to the name John called Jesus, or
refers to His words in the Bible which Jesus will judged us with; does not
really matter, they are one and the same; what matters is our love for Him in
our hearts.
*For the word of God is living
and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions
of the heart. And there is no
creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid
bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Heb 4:12-13 NASB+
All who have the indwelling
of the Holy Spirit are saved, will come into Heaven. The Bible in the New
Testament calls them children of God, believers, followers, Christians,
brothers or sisters of Jesus, those in the body of Christ, one with Christ, the
elect, or saints. All these names refer to those who are given the free
gift of salvation by our Heavenly Father; through Christ’s grace on the cross,
and by faith which is given to us by the Holy Spirit when we accept Him into
our hearts.
*You, however, are not in the flesh
but in the Spirit, if in fact
the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of
Christ does not belong to him. Ro 8:9 ESV+
*For by grace you have been saved
through faith. And this is not your
own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may
boast. Eph
2:8-9 ESV+
*Therefore I make known to you that no
one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed "; and no
one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1Co
12:3 NASB+
2. Saints means holy ones; believers’ spiritual beings
whether on earth or in Heaven
Saint(s) means holy ones;
those whose spiritual being has been made holy by faith in the atoning grace of
Jesus; is used 61 times in the ESV+ Bible, (Christian(s) only 25 times). Saint refers to our eternal holy spiritual being;
whether it resides in our sinful physical body, or when they are separated from
our body at death and by themselves come into Heaven. Whether our spiritual
being is in our body on earth, or in Heaven separated from our body; they are
the same spiritual being. They are pure and holy; have only pure, holy thoughts
and memories.
*To the church of God that is
in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call
upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: 1Co
1:2 ESV+ Saints who are on earth
*so
that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and
Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. 1Thess
3:13 ESV+ Saints spiritual beings coming down from Heaven to be resurrected,
and receive glorified bodies
*So we are always of good courage. We
know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away
from the body and at home with the Lord.
2Co 5:6-8 ESV+
Believers should never fear
death, for when the purpose our Father has put us on earth for is completed,
and our physical body and mind dies; Jesus will take our soul and spirit to our
Father’s glorious Kingdom in Heaven. Here we will wait in peace and joy, until
it is time for Jesus to return and give all believers glorified bodies.
*My sheep hear My
voice, and I know them, and they follow
Me. And I give them eternal
life, and they shall never perish;
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My
Father, who has given them to Me,
is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one." Jn
10:27-30 NKJV+
*Now if we are children, then we
are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in
order that we may also share in his glory. Ro 8:17 NIV+
*The length of our days is
seventy years-- or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away. Ps
90:10 NIV+
Jesus will always be with us,
even when we die, and will help us endure any pain which our death may cause;
whether by accident, illness or catastrophe. He assures us He will still be
with us, when our spiritual being leaves our body to come into our God’s
Heavenly Kingdom.
*Though you have not seen him, you
love him; and even though you do not
see him now, you believe in him
and are filled with an inexpressible and
glorious joy, for you are
receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation
of your souls. 1Pe 1:8-9 NIV+
*For I am convinced that neither
death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love
of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ro 8:38-39 NIV+
We will see Jesus face to
face as He gently takes our spiritual being with Him to Heaven; for He lives in
our hearts, has promised to be with us, even to the end of the age. Until we
come into our Father’s new heaven and earth.
*For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I
know in part, but then I shall know
just as I also am known. 1Co 13:12 NKJV+
*teaching them to observe all
things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Amen. Matt
28:20 NKJV+
Jesus face will shine like
the sun, and His clothes will be white as the light; just as He showed His
glory to 3 of His disciples when He was transfigured before them on a high
mountain. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus love us, for we have tried to keep Their commands; and Jesus will disclose Himself to us, as He
takes up to Heaven to be with Him forever.
*Now after six days Jesus took
Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
Matt 17:1-2 NKJV+
*"He who has My commandments
and keeps them is the one who loves Me;
and he who loves Me will be loved by My
Father, and I will love him and will
disclose Myself to him." Jn
14:21 NASB+
Believers should always
remember when we physically die (bodies are asleep),
because the Holy Spirit lives in our hearts; we have been eternally saved.
Jesus will take our spiritual being from Heaven with Him when He returns to the
clouds over earth; and the Holy Spirit which dwells in our hearts will
resurrect our dead bodies from the earth, glorify them, give them life when He
reunites them with our spiritual being from Heaven.
*But if the Spirit of Him who raised
Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He
who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies
through His Spirit who dwells in you. Ro 8:11 NKJV+
*For this we say to you by the
word of the Lord, that we who are
alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will
by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and
with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in
the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1Thess 4:15-17 NKJV+
3. Our Father’s majestic spiritual rest in Heaven
Imagine being out of this
evil sinful world; and being in the glorious presence of our holy God; our
Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We will be surrounded by our God’s
love, which is beyond human comprehension; and be honored by our Heavenly
Father because we have served Jesus.
*but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your
conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy." 1Pe 1:15-16 NKJV+
*He who does not love does not
know God, for God is love. 1Jn 4:8 NKJV+
*If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will
be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. Jn 12:26 NKJV+
We cannot even begin to
envision the glory, majesty, or size of our God’s Kingdom in Heaven; we do not
even know how large the heavens around earth are in our own universe, where the
universe ends and God’s Heaven starts. It is estimated that the earthly
universe has 1 trillion galaxies, each galaxy having 100-400 billion stars in
them; and the sun which is a star, can hold a million earths within it. If it
takes this much universe to hold God’s footstool, can you imagine the room it
takes to hold God’s Throne in Heaven; it is beyond our human comprehension to
even envision it; will take our breath away when we see it.
*If I have told you earthly things and
you do not believe, how will you
believe if I tell you heavenly things? Jn
3:12 NKJV+
*But I say to you, Do not take an oath
at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it
is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Matt
5:34-35 ESV+
God’s throne will have wheels
on it so it can be move in any direction around His vast Kingdom in Heaven; as
He rules over His enter domain of Heaven, the universe He created. Saints will
see God’s Throne with Jesus siting at His right hand, as it goes all over
Heaven; what a sight it will be.
*"I kept looking Until
thrones were set up, And the Ancient
of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze
with flames,
Its wheels were a burning fire. "A river of fire was flowing And coming out from
before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon
myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened. Da
7:9-10 NASB+
*The appearance of the wheels and
their workmanship was like
sparkling beryl, and all four of them had the same form, their appearance and
workmanship being as if one
wheel were within another. Whenever they moved, they moved in any of their
four directions without turning as they moved. Eze 1:16-17 NASB+
We will see the Heavenly
Mount Zion and Jerusalem which is the city of our God; and joyous angels there
in festive dress, so numerous they cannot be counted. We will see the all the
spiritual beings of the firstborn who were enrolled in Heaven, those of the Old
Covenant; and God who is the judge of all. We will see all the spiritual beings
of the righteous, who were made perfect and are now in
Heaven; and Jesus who is the mediator of the New Covenant, whose sprinkled
blood alone can redeem us from our sins.
*But you have come to Mount Zion
and to the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the
assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of
all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the
mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better
word than the blood of Abel. Heb
12:22-24 ESV+
We will see the Heavenly
Temple, a copy of which was built in Jerusalem; our Father sitting on His
Throne in His Temple, His train so large it fills the Temple up; and seraphim,
angelic like beings standing above His Throne.
*But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him." Hab 2:20 NKJV+
*In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high
and lifted up, and the train of His robe
filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he
covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one
cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of
hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!" Isa 6:1-3 NKJV+
There are also many other
angelic beings we will see; including the cherubim, and those around our God’s
Throne. (cherub
singular of cherubim)
*Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and
the house was filled with the cloud,
and the court was full of the brightness
of the Lord's glory. And
the sound of the wings of the cherubim
was heard even in the outer
court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks. Eze 10:4-5 NKJV+
*Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like
crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of
eyes in front and in back. The first
living creature was like a lion,
the second living creature like a calf,
the third living creature had a face
like a man, and the fourth living
creature was like a flying
eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within.
And they do not rest day or night,
saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to
come!" Rev 4:5-8 NKJV+
4. Mind replaced by our spirit; has only pure
thoughts, know believers; not unbelievers
When a believers’
mortal physical being (body-mind-conscience)
dies our eternal spiritual being (soul-spirit-heart)
is separated from our sinful physical being.
Every part of our being which has flesh or blood within it is mortal, is sinful
can never become holy and will never come into Heaven; will turn into dust.
After we die, we will never again have a physical body or mind of flesh and
blood, so we will never again experience physical pain or illness of any kind;
including headaches, paranoia or mental illnesses within our mind or brain.
*Therefore we are always
confident and know that as long as
we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would
prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 2
Cor 5:6-8 NIV+
*I tell you this, brothers: flesh
and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit
the imperishable. 1Co 15:50 ESV+
We will lose the abilities our human
physical mind and brain gives us; for they are flesh and blood, cannot come into
God’s Kingdom in heaven. Will be like a doctor who can see, and operate on our
mind and brain; and with one mistake erases the memory in our brain, make us
lose the ability for mind to think properly or direct our bodily functions.
When we lose our mind and
brain we will lose our total physical thinking process and memory, like total
permanent amnesia; which will obliterate all and every bad thought or memory we
have ever had on earth. Our spirit will be our only thought process and memory
process which will direct our soul, and will be guided by our heart; which is
the moral compass of our spirit.
*What is the outcome
then? I will pray with the spirit and I will
pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit
and I will sing
with the mind also. 1Co 14:15 NASB+
*because by one
sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being
made holy. Heb 10:14 NIV+
While we live on earth a
believers’ physical mind and body can never become perfectly holy, it is dead
because of sin; for it will always have sinful thoughts, sinful pleasures held
within it. Yet our spirit is perfectly holy; has only God pleasing thoughts,
desires and memories residing within them.
*But if Christ is in you, your
body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Ro 8:10 NIV+
We will not remember any of
the wrongs we have committed whether large or small, the horrifying experiences
we can’t seem to forget; the worries, anxieties, sinful thoughts, and embarrassing
moments we all have had. We will no longer have any sinful emotions including;
hate, anger, fear, envy, pride, greed, or prejudice. And we will never again
have any desires of the flesh tempting our minds to sin; so we will gladly live
as our Father wants us to do.
*For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and
the desires of the Spirit
are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things
you want to do. Gal 5:17 ESV+
*So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For
if you live according to the flesh you
will die, but if by the Spirit you
put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Ro
8:12-13 ESV+
Our spirit is full of our
Father’s love; so we will always love our God above all things, will always
love all our sisters and brothers in Heaven as Christ has loved us. Likewise
all saints in Heaven will no longer have their sinful physical mind, it will
turn to dust; they will only have perfectly holy thoughts within their spirit.
We will never have to worry what they say or think about us, because all saints
in Heaven will love us as Christ has loved them, will only have holy things in
their spirit; will only say good things about us as their brothers and sisters.
*"A new command I give you:
Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. Jn 13:34 NIV+
We believe we will speak and
know the many languages of all nations and people, like the disciples did at the
first Pentecost in Jerusalem after the Holy Spirit gave this gift. For Jesus
told us in Revelation that all nations will show their glory in God’s New
Heaven and Earth, and part of this glory may be the beauty of these many
different languages.
*And divided tongues as
of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began
to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Ac
2:3-4 ESV+
*And they
were amazed and astonished, saying,
“Are not all these who are speaking
Galileans? And how is it that
we hear, each of us in his own native language? Ac
2:7-8 ESV+
*And the nations of those who
are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor
into it. Rev 21:24 NKJV+
In God’s New Heaven and Earth
the Hebrew language will still be the glory of the nation of Israel, but it is
not specified as the only language used in Heaven when spiritual beings of
believers are taken to Heaven when they physically die, or when all believers
receive glorified bodies before and after Jesus 1,000 year Kingdom on Earth. We believe during
this time all with glorified bodies will be able to understand all the
languages of the many different nations in Heaven; see paragraph above.
*"For then I will restore to
the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on
the name of the Lord, To serve Him
with one accord. Zeph 3:9
NKJV+
God will use the pure Hebrew language
of Israel to restore the tribes of Israel as they are being brought back to
Israel, and during Jesus 1,000 Year Kingdom on Earth. But in God’s New Heaven
and Earth, Israel is no longer God’s chosen nation, for the sun
will no longer shine, so Israel will no longer be God’s chosen nation,
see verses below. We will all be our Heavenly Father’s children and brothers
and sisters of Jesus our Savior is our eldest brother. We believe all
preferences will be over including languages; and we will be in awe of our
great God and the Holy Spirit will enable us all to understand everything we
need to know to love, praise, worship, and follow our God; and truly love all
others as ourselves.
*This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its
waves roar-- the Lord Almighty is
his name: "Only if these decrees vanish from my
sight," declares the Lord, "will the descendants of Israel ever
cease to be a nation before me. Jer
31:35-36 NIV+
*There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives
them light. And they shall reign
forever and ever. Rev 22:5 NKJV+
We also believe the spiritual
language the Holy Spirit gives some believers spirits to be able to speak or
understand which is commonly referred to as “talking in tongues” is not the
language which will be used in God’s New Heaven and Earth. For Paul tells us
“tongues” will cease away; when we do not know and they could be used in Heaven
until they pass away.
*and to another the effecting of miracles , and to another prophecy, and to another the
distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to
another the interpretation of tongues. 1Co 12:10 NASB+
* Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for
knowledge, it will pass away. 1Co 13:8 ESV+
Since we will also lose every
bad thought and memory we have ever had; we will not remember any unbeliever on
earth. This includes our spouse, children, family, friends, congregational
leaders, those who sat with us when we worshipped, even those who healed in
Jesus name. While we live on earth we will not always know who will be saved,
that is why should continue to pray for everyone: tell unbelievers about Jesus
before it is too late; before they die or we die.
"Not
everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the
kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me
in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons
in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you;
depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matt
7:21-24 NKJV+
On earth we were not to be
physically yoked with unbelievers, why would God bind their memories in our
spirit. In Heaven we will no longer have any anxiety or worry about whether
anyone on earth will come to Heaven; especially those we were closest to. Our
spirit will only know, remember those who are children
of God. We will no longer remember any unbelievers who
are physically living on earth; who have lived on earth, died and gone to
Hades.
*Do not be bound together with
unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness
and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what
harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an
unbeliever? 2Co 6:14-15 NASB+
Our eternal spirit will be
our thought, memory, and make our decisions throughout eternity. In our
Father’s plan of salvation He knew man would sin, knew our physical mind would
cause the sin and could never come to Heaven; would have to die. So our God who is a spirit, created us in His image; gave us an
eternal spirit which would live within our body; with only a miniscule fraction
of His power and knowledge. Our spirit
will bring to Heaven our personal individuality in pure thoughts, ideas, and
memories from the earth; which are pleasing to our God.
*God created man
in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He
created them. Gen 1:27 NASB+
*"God is spirit , and those who worship Him must worship in spirit
and truth." Jn
4:24 NASB+
Notice in verse above; God wants us
to worship Him with our spirit; on earth by allowing the Holy Spirit to live in
our hearts and guide our physical mind to keep to keep us from sinning. And
without our sinful mind to overcome our spirit will be able worship our God
perfectly in Heaven. We know our spirit is eternal, so why would God ever need
to give us a second mind to guide us when we are given our glorified body. When
believers spirits in heaven can perfectly worship our
God, do everything which pleases Him, personally knows all the saints, and the
language in Heaven.
When Jesus returns to the
clouds over earth, with all saint’s spiritual beings from Heaven; their
perishable, natural physical body which died will be resurrected from the
earth. And be transformed into a holy eternal glorious body like Jesus was
given after His resurrection. Then all the saint’s spiritual beings from Heaven
will be united, come inside their glorified body, giving life to their new
spiritual body; a holy glorious body which thoughts, actions and memories will
be guided by the saint’s spirit.
*So will it be with
the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised
imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in
weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised
a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual
body. 1Co 15:42-44 NIV+
5. Spiritual family in
Heaven; no marriages, only Jesus brothers, sisters; no pets here
When we come to Heaven we
will be living with the largest family we have ever known before; all our
brothers and sisters throughout history who are now in Heaven. Who we will
instantly and personally will know, as we will be known by them; regardless of
the time when they were taken to Heaven. Imagine knowing all of God’s children
from the past to the present; and they will likewise know you.
It will be like the time
Jesus was transfigured; when the 3 disciples with Jesus recognized the
spiritual being of Moses, who died around 1400 years before they were born, and
Elijah who was born 900 years before they were born. Ezekiel (see 6. 2 paragraph)
likewise knew the spiritual being of
Moses, who had died around 500 hundred years before Him; and Moses knew Elijah
who would be born around 500 years after him.
*Six days later, Jesus took with
Him Peter and James and John, and
brought them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; and His garments became radiant and exceedingly white, as no launderer on
earth can whiten them. Elijah appeared to them along with Moses; and they
were talking with Jesus. Mk 9:2-4 NASB+
Many will meet for the first
time their sons and daughters, who as babies died in their mother’s womb; many
will meet younger infants and children who they really did not get to know,
before Jesus took them home to Heaven. Just as David knew he would go to meet
his son; who died before he was 8 days old and was unnamed.
*But now he is
dead. Why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he
will not return to me.” 2Sa 12:23 ESV+
We will continue to meet
those on earth who become children of God; those our Father knew from the
beginning would follow Him. Probably after they repent so the Holy Spirit can
come into their hearts; and we will rejoice in the presence of angels when
another one becomes a child of God.
*For as in one
body we have many members, and the members do not
all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and
individually members
one of another. Ro 12:4-5 ESV+
*In the same
way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over
one sinner who repents." Lk 15:10 NIV+
When one is saved they are probably
announced in Heaven; for only God knows our hearts, knows when any are saved.
While we wait to receive our
glorified bodies, we will continually welcome all believers’ spiritual beings
from earth, when their work for our Father is completed there. This will
include our loved ones from earth; our spouse, family, children, friends, and
all our new brothers and sisters in Christ, who we will want to meet. We will
watch as they behold our Savior’s amazing glory; until the correct number has
come into Heaven and the time for Jesus to return in the clouds over earth has
come.
*Father, I
desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may
behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation
of the world. Jn
17:24 NKJV+
*Lest you be
wise in your own sight, I want you to understand this mystery, brothers: a partial
hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles
has come in. Ro 11:25 ESV+
We will no longer be husbands
or wives nor marry after we physically die on earth; for we will be eternal
spiritual beings which are created by the Holy Spirit and never reproduce on
their own. We will all be spiritual brothers and sisters of Jesus in the family
of God; though our earthly spouse, children, families can be our special
friends.
*That which is
born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Jn 3:6 NKJV+
This subject will also be covered in
Part 2. When we are given glorified bodies; until God’s new
heaven and earth; but briefly;
When given glorified bodies
when Jesus returns in the clouds (gathering/rapture);
we likewise will no longer be husbands or wives, nor marry. We will all be
brothers and sisters of Jesus in the family of God; with glorified bodies,
though our earthly spouse, children, families can be our special friends.
*"For when
they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are
like angels in heaven. Mk 12:25 NASB+
When Jesus comes to earth in power to
defeat the beast/man of sin/antichrist, many of Israel and some Gentiles who
are physically living on earth who call out to Jesus, accept Him; will come
with their mortal physical bodies into Christ’s 1,000 year Kingdom, will
marry and have children.
All those who followed God with
mortal physical bodies in Christ’s 1,000 year Kingdom on earth; will be judged
at the 2nd death or resurrection and those who have been faithful to
God will be given glorified bodies and will no longer be man and wife
nor marry. But live with us as brothers and sisters of Jesus in the family of God;
with glorified bodies, though our earthly spouse, children, families can be our
special friends.
Pets/animals: During the period when
saints spiritual beings live in Heaven, the Bible tells us there will be horses
there (Rev 6:2-8), whether spiritual or physical we do not know. Animals living
on earth do not have spiritual beings; when they die their physical body and
mind will return to dust. This does not mean God cannot bring them back to
life, but we have not found a Bible reference to this while we spiritually live
in the kingdom of God. This will be different in Christ’s 1,000 year Kingdom on
earth and in God’s new Heaven and earth; which will be discussed in Part 2. When we are given glorified bodies;
until God’s new heaven and earth.
6. Saints in Heaven see earth
only through Jesus; understand Abraham’s Bosom
Until Christ’s atoning death
on the cross, no one’s spiritual being in the Old Covenant could be made
perfectly holy; they could not come into God’s holy Kingdom of Heaven. So when
the faithful died their spiritual beings were taken into a rest God prepared
for them, later called the Bosom of Abraham (Heaven 3., 4.); which is in the earthly heavens over earth. Since
the Bosom of Abraham was in the earthly realm; the spiritual beings there could
interact with the spiritual beings in Hades, see the earth; like Abraham and
the rich man did.
*"If I told you earthly
things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly
things? "No one has
ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. Jn 3:12-13
NASB+
*The poor
man died and was carried by the
angels to Abraham’s side. The rich
man also died and was buried,
and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted
up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy
on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my
tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received
your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is
comforted here, and you are in anguish. And besides all this, there between
us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass
from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from to us.’ Lk
16:22-26 ESV+
This includes Ezekiel who was taken
by God up to heaven, which at this time was not God’s Kingdom in Heaven because
Christ’s had not yet died for our sins. But in a rest in the heavens over
earth, which satan was
prince over; and was later called Abraham’s Bosom. Until Ezekiel will return as
one of the two witnesses/prophets who come to bring Israel back to God (Rev
11:3).
*Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and
separated the two of them; and Elijah
went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2Ki 2:11 NKJV+
*in which you used to live when
you followed the ways of this world
and of the ruler of the kingdom of the
air, the spirit who is now at work
in those who are disobedient. Eph
2:2 NIV+
*"But will God indeed dwell
on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this
house which I have built! 1Ki 8:27 NASB+
Now we will go directly to
God’s holy Heaven far above the heavenly realms of this world; for we were made
spiritually holy by Christ’s grace. A Heaven so far above earth, it is now
beyond our ability to calculate the distance; where we will not be in contact
with any on the earth, nor see earth, except through Jesus, according to our
Father’s will.
*For this reason He is the
mediator of a new covenant, so
that, since a death has taken place for
the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called
may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. Heb 9:15 NASB+
Angels took the faithful’s spiritual
beings to Abraham’s Bosom; until Jesus atoning death on the cross made us
spiritually holy. Now Jesus can take us to Heaven; because He lives in our
hearts, will be with us forever.
The idea of purgatory may have come
from Abraham’s Bosom, for it was rest, a waiting place in the earthly realms
for the spiritual beings of those in the Old Covenant who followed God when
their body died. Until Christ’s atoning grace on the cross made their spiritual
being perfectly holy; so they could come into Heaven. Now all believers’
spiritual beings go directly to Heaven when our physical being dies. See paragraph
below
After Christ’s physical body
died on the cross to redeem us from our sins; His human spiritual being
descended into Tartarus the
deepest part of the Abyss, and there deposited all the sins which would ever be
committed by the faithful from the Old and New Covenants. This allowed all the
spiritual beings in Abraham’s Bosom to become perfectly holy, and they followed
behind Jesus
spiritual being into Heaven,
the Kingdom of God. Now all believers’ spiritual beings are perfectly holy, and
come directly into Heaven when we physically die. A holy, glorious Kingdom so
far above earth and its heavens that even though we try to envision it with our
minds; we will still be surprised by its majesty when we come into it.
*Therefore it says, “When he
ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” ( In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean
but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? He who
descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might
fill all things.) Eph
4:8-10 ESV+
Those from the beginning to
Christ’s death on the cross were those who were faithful, and God used them to
do great things; there is a list of the faithful in Hebrews Chapter 11.
*These all died in faith, not
having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from
afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.
Heb
11:13 ESV+
*But as it is, they desire a
better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be
called their God, for he has prepared for them a city. Heb 11:6 ESV+
Yet even with their faith
their spiritual being when they died, could not come into God’s Kingdom of
Heaven; until Christ’s atoning grace on the cross.
*And all these, though commended
through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had
provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made
perfect. Heb
11:39-40 ESV+
They are a cloud (large
multitude, throng) of witnesses which
should remind us that only through Jesus atoning death on the cross can we be
saved; come into God’s spiritual Heaven. We should fix our eyes on Jesus, the
author and perfecter of our faith; He has endured the
hostility of sinners so we will not grow weary and lose heart.
*Therefore, since we have so
great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing
our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith,
who for the joy set before Him endured
the cross, despising the shame,
and has sat down at the right hand of
the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners
against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Heb 12:1-3 NASB+
All we can take up with us to
Heaven with our spiritual beings are the blessings we will receive for doing
good works, out of our love for our God; especially those who were willing to
give their lives for Jesus. Believers spiritual beings will show the marks of
how they were martyred on their spiritual beings; will receive white robes of
honor and prestige to wear for loving God more than they loved their lives, as
they wait for Jesus to avenge their deaths. Until the correct number of martyrs are killed so satan
can be conquered, thrown down to earth and the last times can begin.
*When the Lamb broke the fifth
seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because
of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and
they cried out with a loud voice,
saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging
and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" And there was given to each of them a white robe;
and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants
and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been,
would be completed also. Rev 6:9-10 NASB+
*And I heard a loud voice in heaven,
saying, “Now the salvation and the
power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for
the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and
night before our God. And they have conquered him by
the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not
their lives even unto death. Rev 12:10-11 ESV+
This is before the beast/man of
sin/antichrist will come; these souls were not killed by him, all prior to his
reign over earth. These souls included the believers first killed by the Jews,
the Romans when they ruled the world, the 50 million killed during the 1260
year papal rule starting 538AD, the 12 million killed by Hitler; all killed by
Moslems, China, non-Christian countries, to those still being martyred today at
the highest number in modern years.
The souls of those martyred
for God do not see the earth or Hades; or they would realize those who killed
them are already being punished; some by brutal physical deaths, all by being
thrown into the torment of Hades. The spiritual beings of these martyrs are not
angry, but awaiting the promise of God to avenge them; waiting for them to be
judged at the White Throne Judgment, where all martyrs will be present in their
glorified bodies.
*Do not take revenge, my friends,
but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Ro
12:19 NIV+
*The sea gave up the dead who were
in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they
were judged, each one according to his works. Rev
20:13 NKJV+
7. Saints in Heaven can only contact earthly believers
through Jesus
Saints’ spiritual beings
living in Heaven can only see earth or have contact with those living on it
through Jesus, or when it is our Father’s will; for they will never again have
to experience sorrow, worry or anxiety of the world.
While we live on earth, our
spiritual being though they are holy (like Paul’s and John’s),
can only see Heaven or have contact with those living in Heaven through Jesus
when our Father allows us to; for we have a sinful physical mind which casts a
shadow or veil over the reality of our being one with Jesus, one with the
saints in Heaven. Though we can envision what is happening in Heaven, within
our spirit and heart.
*For the Lamb in the midst of the
throne will be their shepherd, and he
will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Rev
7:17 ESV+
*For now we see in a mirror,
dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as
I also am known. 1Co 13:12 NKJV+
An example of this is while
we are living on earth, because Jesus spiritually lives in us and we
spiritually live in Him; He takes our spiritual being in Him up to Heaven where
He sits on the Throne. Yet our physically mind does not know what is happening;
for until the veil of sin is removed we can only envision it, though it is
real. It is the same for our contact with any of the saints’ spiritual beings
in Heaven; there is a veil, a shadow between their holy spiritual beings and
our sinful physical mind. Though we can envision the great joy we will have in
meeting Jesus face to face, it will only be a reality when we die. We can only
imagine what the saints in Heaven will be doing, will say when we meet them
again; it will only become a reality for us, for them, after we physically die,
and lose our sinful physical mind.
*"After a little while the
world will no longer see Me, but you will
see Me; because I live, you will live also. "In that day you will
know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in
you. Jn
14:19-20 NASB+
*and raised us up with Him, and
seated us with Him in the heavenly places
in Christ Jesus, Eph
2:6 NASB+
We should never ask any saint we
believe is in Heaven to pray for us; for our request must go through Jesus
first before it can reach them. We should just directly ask Jesus or go to our
Heavenly Father directly; for He already knows what we need before we ask Him.
*"So do not be like them;
for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Matt
8:8 NASB+
Do not ask anyone to bring up the
dead to talk to you; for they are fakes or are calling up demonic spirits which
will try to deceive you. Saul asked a woman practicing witchcraft to call up
the spiritual being of Samuel who had died; instead she called up a powerful
demon spirit like a god. Who our Father used to prophesy the death of Saul,
whose life He took for using this witchcraft; which He had forbidden Israel to
use.
We know it was a demon because our
God will not allow any spiritual being to be taken from His rest; because the
demon spirit (an idol god worshipped by evil people) came out of the ground
where the bottomless pit of the Abyss is located, and Samuel’s spiritual being
was in the heavens
over earth in Abraham’s Bosom.
Read 1Sa 28
*So Saul disguised himself
and put on other garments and went, he and two men with
him. And they came to the woman by
night. And he said, “Divine for me
by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.” 1Sa
28:8 ESV+
*The king said to her, “Do not be
afraid. What do you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I see a god coming up
out of the earth.” 1Sa 28:13 ESV+
When a believer of a loved one dies,
we should not look down to their grave to be with them; but up into the sky,
for they are far away in Heaven waiting for us. We will never be closer to them
while we live on earth, then when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper with Jesus;
for we know Jesus is present because He has invited us to His Supper. After
Jesus words of institution are read over the bread, as we physically eat the
bread, we participate in the body of Christ, His one holy spiritual church;
which includes all the saints in Heaven, all the saints on earth.
Our sinful physical mind will cast a
shadow over our perfect spiritual being so we cannot see Jesus, all our
brothers and sisters in Heaven; though our pure hearts know we are spiritually
united with Jesus, through Jesus spiritually united with all our brothers and
sisters in Heaven. The saints in Heaven will likewise know they are united with
us through Jesus, especially the ones we are closest to; and may even see us if
Jesus allows them to. For they have no sinful physical mind which casts a
shadow over what their perfect spirit sees.
*The cup of blessing that we
bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 1Co 10:16 ESV+
8. Heaven will not be boring, pass by quickly; 1 Day
in Heaven is a 1,000 days on earth
1 day with God, 1 day in His
Kingdom is like a 1,000 years on earth, and 1,000 days on earth are but a day
in Heaven. God is eternal, has been, will always be; before He created the
universe there was no time, only eternity. Time began when God created the
universe, is only relevant to His plan of salvation for us on the earth.
*But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2Pe
3:8 NKJV+
*For a thousand years in your
sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night. You sweep them away as with a flood; they
are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning: in the
morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers. Ps
90:4-6 ESV+
We are eternally saved, when our
physical body dies, and we come into our Father’s spiritual kingdom in Heaven;
without a mortal body, which must live in earth’s time constraint. We will all
be given all the spiritual blessings in Heaven through Christ; including the
blessing of having 1 joyous day in Heaven be as 1,000 years on the earth.
*Blessed be the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places, Eph
1:3 ESV+
We also believe that when we are
given eternal glorified bodies like Jesus, Heaven will still be our home where
we will serve our Father; a day will remain like 1,000 years on earth for us.
Even when some with glorified bodies will help Jesus rule over His 1,000 year
Kingdom on a cleansed earth; which will be under earthy time and have mortal
physical people living there. More about this in Part 2 of this series coming
soon
We also believe that because Hades is
where unbelievers’ sinful spiritual beings go, the Abyss where disobedient
angelic spiritual beings are kept; because they are both in bottomless pit in
the earth, they will always be on earthly time. While all in Heaven will have a
joyous day; all in the bottomless pit will endure 1,000 years of torment.
We believe God designed His
plan of salvation for us to eternally become His children, in His new
heaven/earth to be completed in 1 week; 7 days, the number 7 representing
perfect completion. Yet to God 7 days in Heaven, where 1 day is a thousand
days; are 7,000 years on the earth for His plan to be completed.
God’s Word tells us the approximate
time between Adam and Jesus was around 4,000 years ago (+/- 200 years).
Jesus atoning death on the cross was
a little over 2,000 years ago.
Jesus Kingdom on earth will 1,000
years; then we will come into God’s new heaven/earth.
4,000 + 2,000 + 1,000 = 7,000
years
The first faithful to die on
earth from Adam to Christ’s atoning death on the cross; their spiritual being
lived in Abraham’s Bosom around 4,000 years; before Jesus took them to God’s spiritual
rest in Heaven. This time continually decreased until any who physically died
just before Jesus died upon the cross; would live in Abraham’s Bosom less than
an hour; before Jesus took them to God’s Kingdom in Heaven.
Yet it will seem to the spiritual
beings who were in Abraham’s Bosom the longest, as
though they had lived there but 4 days; and to the spiritual beings who came
there last, like seconds, almost immediately they were taken to God’s spiritual
rest in Heaven.
Then all spiritual beings
from the beginning to Christ’s atoning grace, will
live in God’s Kingdom in Heaven for around 2,000 years; until Jesus will bring
their spiritual beings down to the clouds over earth and give them glorified
bodies. Yet it will seem like they were just in God’s Kingdom
in Heaven just 2 days.
The spiritual beings of
believers, who died after Christ’s death on the cross, will come directly into
God’s spiritual Kingdom in Heaven. They will live there as a family with all
the spiritual beings from Abraham’s Bosom who have just come here. The first
believers’ spiritual beings to come into Heaven (like thief on Cross) will live here around 2,000 years, the rest
continually less depending on when believers physically die, the last spiritual
being coming into Heaven very shortly before Jesus will return. Yet
it will seem like only 2 days to the first, seconds to the last; before Jesus
will take their spiritual beings with Him to clouds over the earth, along with
those from the Old Covenant; and give them all a glorified body.
Believers who are alive when
Jesus returns to the clouds over earth; will be gathered/raptured up to Jesus
and given a glorified body; without having to die, without their spiritual
being coming to Heaven; except in their glorified bodies. Believers still living when Jesus
returns in the clouds will instantly, at the twinkling of an eye be given
glorified bodies.
Then all with glorified
bodies from the beginning to the last who do not die; will serve God in our
Heavenly home, some will serve Jesus in His 1,000 year Kingdom on a cleansed
earth, with physical mortal people living there. Yet it will seem like 1 day until we all come into our
God’s new Heaven and earth.
The time the faithful who
died before Christ’s death on the cross, will have to wait until God’s new
heaven/earth; first around 7 days, last just over 3 days.
The time
believers who died before Christ’s death on the cross, will have to wait until
God’s new heaven/earth; first around 3 days, last just over 1 day.
If we died today and Jesus
returns in the clouds within 42 years; we will have to wait a little over 1day,
1hour: before coming into God’s new heaven/earth.
How long will a loved one
wait in Heaven for us to join them: 1hr = 42 years (1day/24 hours = 1,000 years)
2 hours if they died 84 years
before we die: 1 hour if they died 42 years before we die
30 minutes if they died 21
years; before we die: 10 minutes if they died 7 years; before we die
And only 1 minute if they
died 8 months before we die
We will not be bored in God’s
spiritual rest in Heaven; we will worship our Father, be
with Jesus our eldest brother, see our God’s majestic spiritual Heaven and be
taken over its vast domain. We meet the billions of our brothers and sisters
there; meet babies and infants we may never have known, though they will be
mature. We will hug all of our family on earth when we welcome them home to
Heaven. And this will happen in what will only seem like a couple of days to
us; how will we have time to be bored in our God’s spiritual Heaven.
*Father, I desire that they also
whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which
You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. Jn 17:24 NKJV+
