Brief Thoughts by date written G

When the Holy Spirit lives within us, we can understand our God, His Word, His plan for us.

*We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God,

that we may understand what God has freely given us. 1Co 2:12 NIV+

1/6/17 Ė 1. New Year Greeting - 2. Update to 4 the number of unforgiveable sins

1. In this New Year let us remember; we are either for Jesus or against Him

*"He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Matt 12:30 NASB+

We either follow the Word of God because we love Jesus

*"If you love me, you will obey what I command. Jn 14:15 NIV+

Or follow the world and its political correctness and reject Jesus

*For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Mk 8:36 NKJV+

2. Update to; The 4 unforgiveable sins

Corrected and removed our ď9/14/15 The 3 unforgiveable sins.Ē Then added the 4th unforgiveable sin at the end of it below

The 4 unforgiveable sins Ė Many of our messages refer to as rejecting the Spirit as the only unforgiveable sin; we hope to get them changed

The 1st unforgiveable sin Jesus tells us about is blaspheming or grieving the Holy Spirit. When Jesus became man, He was still spiritually God; though in human form He became a man as we are, and no longer had His almighty power or glory (see Our God). The power Jesus had was given to Him when He was anointed by the Holy Spirit; who thereafter continually provided Him with power, as the Holy Spirit does to believers today.††††

*ďTruly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sinĒó  Mk 3:28-29 ESV+

*but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Phil 2:7-8 ESV+

*that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Ac 10:37 NKJV+

When Jesus was casting out demons through the power of the Holy Spirit some scribes mocked Jesus, His miracles by saying His power came from Beelzebub, one of many names of satan. In essence the scribes were saying the Holy Spirit was satan; calling the Holy Spirit satan is the worst blasphemy anyone could say against Him. And this sin will never be forgiven to the scribes who uttered them, our Father has already condemned them to Hades.

*And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebub," and, "By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons." Mk 3:22 NKJV+

*"But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matt 12:28 NASB+

We do not want to grieve the Holy Spirit; for our Father then will become our enemy, will not give us the indwelling of the Spirit. And without the Spirit living in our hearts we cannot call Jesus our Lord; are not one with Him.

*But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, Isa 63:10 NASB+

*And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Eph 4:30 ESV+

*Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1Co 12:3 NIV+

*However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. Ro 8:9 NASB+

The next 2 sins which will not be forgiven us if we commit them are found in Revelation. Because Revelation is the only book in Godís Word which offers us a blessing if we read or hear it, and has the other 2 unforgiveable sins in it; it is a very important book to study.

*Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Rev 1:3 NIV+

The 2nd unforgiveable sin is if we add or take away any of the words written in the Book of Revelation.

*I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. Rev 22:18-19 ESV+

The 3rd unforgiveable sin is worshipping the beast (antichrist) and receiving his mark when he comes in end times to rule over this world for 3 1/2 years. The end times are drawing near; and it is very possible for many to be under the antichristís rule. We believe that we will have to face the rule of the antichrist, before Jesus returns in the clouds to gather us up to Him. See The Gathering and The antichrist

*Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,  he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." Rev 14:9-11 NKJV+

The 4th sin which our God will not completely forgive is the original sin of Adam; the curse of death He put on Adam for committing it. This original was passed through Adamís seed, to the seed of all men. So any who are reproduced by manís seed are conceived physically sinful, and our Father will not forgive this sin in respect to the death it will bring. And we will all physically die except those believers who are living when Jesus returns in the clouds for us.

*Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinnedóRo 5:12 NKJV+

*Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Ps 51:5 NASB+

Yet our Heavenly Father will forgive our inherited sin, which will make our mind be hostile to Him when they mature enough. So our Father can put the Holy Spirit into our hearts to guide us to His will. Baptism of Holy Spirit Ė see Soul and Spirit; Body and Mind (4.)††

*the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. Ro 8:7-8 NIV+

*I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. Eze 36:25 ESV+

*And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. Eze 36:27 ESV+

Our spiritual God changed; when He became man

Many congregational leaders and believers much smarter than we are, often repeat a traditionally held belief about our great God; that our God has always been, will always be, and will never change. Yet out of His love for us, Godís Son would have to change His very essence as a spiritual being, and become a man with a physical body and mind; which He would sacrifice upon the cross to redeem believers from our sins. So we could become holy children of our Heavenly Father.

*ďFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. Jn 3:16-18 ESV+

One spiritual God; 3 distinct spiritual beings; always has been; always will be

Our God is one holy eternal spiritual being with three distinct personalities, three separate spiritual beings. The Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit, have always been, will always be spiritually united together as our one true God; whose love, words, promises, and prophesies will always be true, will never change.

*Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: Matt 28:19 ASV

Yet the Sonís spiritual being was changed, was united with the spiritual being of a man.

He is spiritually God; yet became a physical man without power in the womb of Mary.

The Son has and will always be spiritually united together with His Father and the Holy Spirit. Yet His spiritual being (soul and spirit) came down from eternity in Heaven, into this sinful world; and by the power of the Spirit was united together with a physical manís spiritual being in the womb of Mary. The Son though still spiritually one with the Father and the Spirit as our one true God; had also become a physical man; had become Jesus, who was now both the Son of God and the Son of Man. See Jesus Becomes Man

*And the angel answered her, ďThe Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holyó the Son of God. Lk 1:35 ESV+

* "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Mk 10:45 NASB+

Godís Son though still an all-powerful spiritual person of the trinity; did not have divine power as the physical Son of Man. Jesus would have no spiritual power until He was anointed with the Holy Spirit; and through the Spirit was given power to do miracles during His 3Ĺ years of ministry on earth. Jesus was always the spiritual Son of God; yet as a man He would sacrifice His physical life upon a cross to redeem us from our sins.

*how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Ac 10:38 NKJV+

* Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! Phil 2:6-8 NIV+

The Son, Jesus, would change again after giving His life as atonement for our sins.

The Spirit resurrected Him, gave Him a glorified body; the power of God once more

The Son of God, who we now can also address as Jesus, would change once more. The Holy Spirit would physically resurrected Jesus from the grave, after He had given His life to atone for our sins; and give Jesus a glorified body. And 40 days later Jesus would ascend into Heaven to sit at the right hand of His Father, with all of the power of our God.††

*and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. Ro 1:4 NIV+

*who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Phil 3:21 NKJV+

*Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God." Lk 22:69 NKJV+

Jesus will return again to gather us all to Heaven to be with Him. Then come in all of His power to destroy the antichrist, and rule over this earth. See Where We Are in End Times

*For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise firstThen we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 1Thes 4:16-17 ESV+

*And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." Rev 19:16 NASB+

9/14/15 - The 3 unforgiveable sins amended, see 1/6/17 (2.)

We remain Godís children if we believed in Jesus before; our minds quit functioning properly, and caused us to sin, even die in sin, even commit suicide. Includes physical injury to brain, mental illness, old age dementia, depression, or any other reason oneís physical mind cannot function properly. ††

When we surrender our will to our Father, He forgives our sins and gives us the indwelling of the Spirit. Baptism of the Spirit, have our spirit renewed or be born again. See God Chose Those Who Would Love Him

*that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faithóthat you, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:16-17 ESV+

*On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Jn 14:20 NIV+

*Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. Jn 14:23 NKJV+

Our spiritual being, our soul, spirit and heart, comes into the Kingdom of Heaven. For when our God dwells within our spirit being, our spiritual being has to be in His kingdom; though our physical being will never come into His kingdom until it is glorified.

*Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." LK 17:20-22 NKJV+

*for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro 14:17-18 NASB+

*I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 1Co 15:50 ESV+

Our spirit being becomes one spirit with Jesus, and spiritually He takes us with Him to Heaven; where we spiritually sit with Him on His Fatherís throne. Though while we live in our bodies, our body and mind cannot comprehend or see this; but when our physical body dies, our spiritual being, our soul and spirit is immediately taken to Heaven; where we will see Jesus face to face, in all of His glory and majesty.

*But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1Co 6:17 NKJV+

*and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph 2:6

*Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1Co 13:2 NIV+

We must understand that our mortal flesh, our physical being, our body and mind (our mind controls our brain, our conscience controls our minds moral thoughts), is different. Than our eternal spiritual being, our soul, and spirit (our heart is part of the spirit; controls its moral thoughts; is where our Father, Jesus, and the Spirit dwell). We just are waiting for our physical bodies to be removed when we die; so our spiritual being can see Jesus face to face, and be with Him forever.

*among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind Eph 2:3 ESV+

*Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. 1Pe 2:11 NASB+

Our mortal physical being, our body, will grow old and die; turn to dust. When our physical being dies, our eternal spiritual being will return to God; will go to either eternal joy in Heaven or eternal torment in Hell. Soul or spirit can refer to all of our spiritual being; both our soul and spirit which will always remain together.

*Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it. Eccl 12:7 NKJV+

* to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, Heb 12:23 NASB+

*Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matt 10:28 NIV+

Our spirit is the thought process of our spiritual being (our soul, spirit, and heart). Our spirit can on its own pray, talk, and sing to our God, without using our physical mind.

*What is the outcome then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also. 1Co 14:15 NASB+

This does not mean just talking in tongues, though one does pray and sing with their spirit when talking in tongues, a gift given to some. Yet we can also communicate with our God through our spirit in many different ways including; meditating with our God, often through deep thoughts not processed by our minds. Including the times when our minds cannot fully express the joy we have for our God has done for us; yet we can express it directly to our Heavenly Father through our spirit.

And when our minds shut down due to the problems, or grief, we can have in this world; we can seek help from our God with our spirit, without our dysfunctional physical mind even knowing what we are saying. We can spiritually visit with our God and receive answers from Him without physical words even being expressed.

As Godís children, we will always love our God, though no matter how hard we strive to follow Him; our flesh, our physical being, our mind and body, will always fall short; and we will put our own desires above our Fatherís will, and sin. Yet the Spirit will continually sanctify us, forgive our sins, keep our spiritual being holy, so He can dwell in us; if we really love our God above all things, and have just made a mistake which we are sorry for; want forgiveness for.

While if we follow our sinful flesh, we will soon put the desires of this world ahead of our God; which will allow satan to control our hearts; and we can become the children of satan. Only our Father and Jesus know the intents of our hearts; though when one physically dies, the way this person lived their life for God can give us more assurance their spiritual being is with our Lord in Heaven.

*If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. Ro 8:10 NASB+

*But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 2Thess 2:13 ESV+

If the Spirit was living in the heart of a believer before their mind no longer function properly; due to injury, mental illness, old age dementia, depression, or any other reason their minds failed them. The Holy Spirit will help them in their weakness, intercede for them; continue to sanctify them, forgive their sins so they are able to love our God, have faith in Him within their hearts, and remain His children. And even though oneís who had mental problems died committing a sinful act (including suicide); their spiritual being will still go to Heaven. For the righteous will live by the faith they have in their hearts for our God, before their minds quit functioning correctly.

*In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Ro 8:26-27 NIV+

*For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." Ro 1:17 NIV+

7/12/15

1. We become children of God - 2. Godís perfect love is a specific spiritual love

1. We become Children of God, brothers of Jesus, believers, Christians, saints; when our Father forgives our sins, through Christís atoning grace on the cross, and gives us the indwelling of the Spirit (also known as baptism of the Spirit; renewal or regeneration of our spirit or mind; or being born again). Our Father gives the indwelling of the Spirit at different times, in many different ways to those who will give up our human will and accept His will. Some will receive the Spirit into our hearts with much physical emotion, others quietly; but all will be filled with the fullness of God, which surpasses human knowledge.

*Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed "; and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1Co 12:3 NASB+

*You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. Ro 8:9 ESV+

*and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:19 ESV+

All of the underlined names above refer to those who are in the body of Christ; His one holy spiritually invisible church. Since our Saviorís church is spiritual, invisible, we will never fully know who is in the family of God, our spiritual brothers and sisters; for only our God knows the intention of our hearts. When we come together to worship our God whether in earthly churches, congregations or groups, we can only hope and pray that all have surrendered their will to our Father; knowing those who follow Godís Word, and let His love shine through their lives, are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

*so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Ro 12:5 NKJV+

*that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are oneI in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Jn 17:21-23 NIV+

2. Godís perfect love

Godís perfect love is a specific spiritual love, which He alone can give us. We alone choose whether to receive our Fatherís love, or live in the sinful physical love of our minds; our consciences. We accept our Fatherís free gift of love when we surrender our human will to Him; and allow the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.

*and hope does not put us to shame, because Godís love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Ro 5:5 ESV+

*And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him. 1Jn 4:16 ASV

Our Fatherís love is an emotion which enables us to affectionately put our God first in everything in our lives. And His love is also a discipline in our lives; for when we love our God more than anything else, we will try our hardest to obey His commands.

Do not let unbelievers, including those who merely think they are Christians; define our Godís love, for they cannot understand it. And when unbelievers try to use the imperfect love within their sinful minds to justify this worldís sinful behavior; including lying, sexual pleasures, homosexual behavior, love of money or anything else; use the verses below to tell them this:

The first and most important commandment our God gave us was to love Him above all things; and when we love Him above all things we will strive to keep His commandments, and follow His Word; not the human desires of our mind.

*"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' Mk 12:29-30 NIV+

*For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 1Jn 5:3 NKJV

*Jesus answered him, ďIf anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Fatherís who sent me. Jn 14:23-24 ESV+

Our Fatherís love in our hearts will enable us to:

a. Love Jesus more than our spouse, our children, our desires and pleasure, even our own lives.

*Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matt 10:37 ESV+

*For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matt 16:26 NKJV+

*For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. Lk 9:24 NKJV+

b. Have a spiritual relationship with all believers; loving them as Christ loves us. Have a physical relationship with all unbelievers, loving them as we love ourselves; treating them as we would want to be treated.

*A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." Jn 13:34-35 NKJV+

*The second is this: ĎYou shall love your neighbor as yourself.í There is no other commandment greater than these.Ē Mk 12:31 ESV+

*"In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matt 7:12 NASB+

c. Have the spiritual love to marry one of the opposite sex; to be united as husband and wife until one of them dies, or is unfaithful to the other. When both the man and the woman are believers, they receive the added blessing of being spiritually one in Christ; who now becomes the spiritual head of their union, guides them as one throughout their lives. When a man and woman physically become one flesh in marriage, they can enjoy the sexual intimacy our Father has provided for them.

*But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery. Matt 5:32 NKJV+

*Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, Eph 5:25 NKJV+

*But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. Eph 5:24 NASB+

d. Have our Godís special spiritual love for children, to bring them to the love of Jesus, and never keep them from Him. And believers will never murder babies in their motherís womb, abortion, or cause young children to sin for any reason.

*Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Matt 18:5-6 NKJV+

*He said to him, ďWhich ones?Ē And Jesus said, ďYou shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Matt 19:18 ESV+

5/10/15

1. Godís Word not human wisdom Ė 2. Stand by Godís Word

1. Godís Word; Not Human Wisdom

When we have the Spirit living in our hearts, we know we are children of God; and the Spirit, through the Word, teaches us about all the spiritual blessings we have been given by our heavenly Father. Those who do not have the Spirit, are spiritually discerned, cannot understand Godís Word, it is foolishness to them. God has made foolish the wisdom of the world; has frustrated the intelligence of the intelligent, and will destroy the wisdom of the wise.

*Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by GodThese things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1Co 2:12-13 NKJV+

*The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Co 2:14 NIV+

*For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 1Co 1:19-20 NIV+

2. Stand by Godís Word; do not be intimidated by others.

Many misuse Godís word to try and keep us from expressing our Christian values; which our country was founded on, which we believe society should follow. Believers because they do not use the context of Godís Word; unbelievers because they cannot understand Godís Word, or do not want to follow it. And the socialist liberal elite because they want to keep us from speaking about our beliefs, as they use their own ďplaybookĒ, Saul Alinskyís ďRules for RadicalsĒ to try and silence us. Their playbook tells them they can get an advantage over Christians by holding us to our morals, while they use almost any means (lying, distorting, exaggerating) to advance their own cause; for the end justifies the means. This allows them to try and silence us by re-educating us in schools and colleges; ridiculing us in the liberal media and press, so we will not speak out; and turning the social media against us so we will be too embarrassed to reply; which are very strong weapons in their fight to keep us quiet.

We must know Godís Word, so no one can take a verse out of context in it, and try to silence us with it. This includes telling us we should not judge the actions of others, whether they are pleasing to our God or not. Often using the following verse; *ďJudge not, that you be not judged. Matt 7:1 ESV+. We should do as Jesus did when satan tempted Him using verses from the Word out of context; and use other verses from the Word which correctly tell us what our Father would have us do.

*Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,' "and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.'" Lk 4:9-11 NKJV+

*And Jesus answered him, ďIt is said, ĎYou shall not put the Lord your God to the test.í Ē And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. Lk 4:12-13 ESV+

When someone tells us we should not judge others, quietly tell them, they are taking the verse they are using out of context; for when we have the Holy Spirit in our hearts, we will make judgments about all things. Yet we are not subject to any personís judgment who is not a believer, for they cannot understand the true meaning of Godís Word; and quote this verse.

*The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ. 1Co 2:15-16 NIV+

Then explain Jesus was talking about those who were hypocritically judging others. Those who were committing the same sins as those they accused, but condemning their actions so they could feel superior to them; especially the Pharisees and Sadducees. For if you look at the verse we are talking about in Matt 7:1, and merely go down to verse 8; Jesus tells us after they got the plank out of our eye, were able to control their sinning, they should help the other control their sinning. We can judge others actions using the Word, with the help of the Spirit in love; but not hypocritically.

*ďJudge not, that you be not judged. Matt 7:1 ESV+

*And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Matt 7:3-4 NKJV+

*"You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Matt 7:5 NASB+

Because we love others we want to tell them about our great Savior, what our God would have us do, how He would have us live. In a loving manner, we can use all of Godís Word in context to judge whether human actions are pleasing or sinful to our Lord, and warn of their consequences; this includes the verses below which Jesus and Paul gave us in the Word. Though only our God can judge what is in our hearts, who will be saved, who will be condemned.

*But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Rev 21:8 NKJV+

* Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1Co 6:9-10 ESV+

*Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God. 1Co 4:5 NASB+

We should not back down or be intimidated when unbelievers try to pass judgment on us, on our God; but always remember without the indwelling of the Spirit they cannot understand our God, His Word; it is just foolishness to them. Many will ridicule us because of their human pride, because they do not want to give up the money and pleasures of this world. Others will try and change the meaning of the Word for their own benefit and causes; yet we should stand up for our God and the truth in His Word.†††

*"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Matt 10:32-33 NKJV+

*"For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." Mk 6:38 NASB+

We should always stand up for our God. Yet we must also live with unbelievers in this world and as long as we do not have to do anything unpleasing to our God; it is not always necessary to have physical confrontation with those who do not believe. At work we can merely say, I do not believe that, or you know what I believe or just walk away from situations which are not pleasing to God, showing our disapproval; instead of constantly arguing with unbelievers. When we show love for all, are honest, and do our job well with the joy of Christ in our hearts; others will know we are different. And someday we may be able to have a quiet discussion with them about our great God.

*I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindlerónot even to eat with such a one. 1Co 5:9-11 NASB+

*"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matt 5:16 NASB+
