Verses

All verses in this section help explain events in other sections of this series

To understand this diagram, the verses for them; one must know what our spiritual being (soul and spirit) and physical being (mind and body) are.

Faithful; those who followed God before Christís death - Believers; those who loved Jesus after His death

27. On Resurrection Day, Jesusí spiritual being descends from 2nd Heaven with the Holy Spirit; and either in the clouds over earth where our bodies will be resurrected, or in Jesusí tomb on earth; the Holy Spirit resurrects, glorifies, and reunites Jesus body with His human spiritual being. Jesus is the firstborn, the first fruits; the first to be given an eternal, glorified, spiritual body

*But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Ro 8:11 NKJV+

*For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Ro 8:29 ESV+

28. Jesusí body has been in tomb 3 days, but now tomb is empty; Jesus is alive. The first to see Jesus are 2 unknown women who love Him, then Mary Magdalene, then Peter, then 2 disciples on Emmaus Road. See Specifics 6a.

*From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. Matt 16:21 NASB+

*ďThe Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.Ē Lk 9:22 ESV Ė Also Lk 18:33, 24:7+46

Matthew tells us 2 women came to the tomb just before dawn, as an earthquake signaled the Holy Spirit had given physical life to Jesus once more. An angel had descended from Heaven to roll away the stone from the opening of the tomb. The Roman guards who were guarding the tomb were scared, became like dead men after the angel had opened the tomb.

*Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. Matt 28:1-2 NKJV+

*The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. Matt 28:4 NIV+

The angel told the women that Jesus was not in the tomb, He had risen from the dead, come and see the place where He lay. Then the angel told the women to tell Jesus disciples to go to Galilee. The women hurried away from the tomb with joy, and ran to tell Jesusí disciples.

*He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you." So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Matt 28:6-8 NIV+

Jesus first appeared to these women after He had risen from the dead, as they were running from the tomb to tell the disciples; maybe when they paused to rest. When Jesus greeted them, they fell at His feet to worship Him, then took hold of His feet to make sure He was alive, not a vision. Jesus told them to tell His brothers to go to Galilee and there they would see Him.

* And behold, Jesus met them and said, ďGreetings!Ē And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, ďDo not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me Matt 28:9-10 ESV+

Matthew had been a tax collector, worked with Roman soldiers to get taxes from the Jewish people; was familiar with them. Matthew got his story of how Jesus arose from the dead from the Roman soldiers who guarded Jesus tomb, who were terrified when the angel opened the tomb and Jesus body was not there. Either by talking with them or overhearing what they told the chief priests; who the soldiers came to for help. For if the chief priests complained to the Roman captain of the guards about the tomb being opened, the soldiers would be killed for not protecting it; yet if they told the truth about seeing an angel open it to the captain of the guards, he would not believe them and they would be killed for not protecting the tomb.

*While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place. Matt 28:11 ESV+

Matthew alone tells how these guards were bought off by the chief priests. Since Matthew received this story from the soldiers, He assumed the 2 women the soldiers were talking about were Mary Magdalene and the other Mary for he knew they were going to the tomb early in the morning. Yet it could not have been Mary Magdalene as you will see below for when she went to the tomb there were no Roman guards and the stone had already been rolled away. Then she went back to the disciples before coming to the tomb once again follwing behind John and Peter, much later in the morning. Yet because the story of Mary Magdalene being first to see Jesus was told by other disciples, Matthew never looked deeper into who the women really were or talked with them about it.

*And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, and said, "You are to say, 'His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.'  "And if this should come to the governor's ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble." Matt 28:12-14 NASB+

Why is this important; because anytime we do not tell the complete true story as told in the Bible; satan, his demonic hoard will try to twist the truth to deceive us, and those who do not believe. The story, movie, and controversy about Mary Magdalene being married to Jesus, even having a child by Him was bolstered by her being the first Jesus sought out to see after His resurrection as though she was His wife.

Yet just like the unnamed Jewish shepherds were first to see the Baby Jesus, it is no surprise Jesus resurrection would be revealed to 2 unknown Jewish women who loved Him; who we will never know the name of. Just like stories of other women the disciples would not believe; the story these 2 women told the disciples probably was not believed also, just like the shepherds of old were not believed.

*It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles. And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. LK 24:10-11 NKJV+

Mary Magdalene next to see Jesus after He arose from the dead

Mark 16: 1-8, Lk 24:1-13, Jn 20:1-18 tell about this.

Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James, and Salome (Lk 24:10 adds Joanna, other women) on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen and the stone had been rolled back (Lk 24:2, Jn 1:18 agree), went to Jesusís tomb. This means it was after the 2 women in Matthew had visited the tomb and saw the angel roll the stone away; while the Roman guards were still there.†††

*When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. Mk 16:1-2 NASB+

*Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large. Mk 16:4 NASB+

The women saw an angel (Lk 24:4 2 angels) who tells them Jesus has risen, and they are to tell His disciples that Jesus was going to Galilee to see them. ††††††††

*As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. Mk 16:5 NIV+

*"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. Mk 16:6 NIV+

*But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.'" Mk 16: NIV+

Some of the women were too scared to tell the story (Mark), while other women told the story but the apostles would not believe them (Luke). John tells us Mary Magdalene told Peter and him (the other disciple) about what she saw.

*Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. Mk16:8 NIV+

*It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles. And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. LK 24:10-11 NKJV+

*So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, ďThey have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him Jn 20:2 NIV+

We do not believe Mark 16:9-19 was part of the original Word of God; for it is not in many of the early manuscripts, was probably added while the Bible was being copied. Some translations do not have it; and all the Bible translation we use put a warning notice before continuing with Mark 16:9; [The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient writings do not have Mark 16:9-20] NIV+. We believe verse 16:9 does not stay in context when it suddenly jumps with Mary Magdalene being the first to see Jesus after He arose from the dead. We are very wary of the rest of the verses after Mk 16:8 which has killed many who have tried to follow it; it is completely out of context with the Word of God, no one has to drink poison or pick up poisonous snakes to prove they are believers.

*And these signs shall follow them that believe; Mk 16: ptn 17 KJV

*They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; Mk 16:ptn 18 KJV

John continues with Peter, Mary Magdalene, and himself running to the tomb. John reached the tomb first but did not go in. When Peter reached the tomb he went into it and saw the linen cloths Jesus was buried with lying there. Then John went in, saw and believed Jesus was alive; but Peter and John still did not understand the Scripture that Jesus had to die for our sins, would then would rise from the dead and then be given a glorified spiritual body.

*Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, Jn 20:6 ESV+

*Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Then the disciples went back to their homes. Jn 20:8-10 ESV

When Mary Magdalene reached the tomb she stood outside of it weeping, and finally stooped down to look into the tomb. Then the risen Jesus came up behind her and asked whom she was seeking. Mary thinking Jesus was a gardener of the tomb area, asked Him if He knew where the body of Jesus had been laid. When Jesus gently called Mary by her name, Mary recognized it was Jesus; and turned to see her risen Savior.††

* But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. Jn 20:11 NLJV+

*Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away." Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to say, Teacher). Jn 20:15-16 NKJV+

Two disciples on road to Emmaus next see the risen Jesus

Two disciples of Jesus were traveling to the village called Emmaus, about 7 miles from Jerusalem; we know one was Cleopas (Lk 24:18), but we do not know who the other disciple was. As they walked Jesus drew near to them and began walking with them. They got into a conversation about how Jesus had been crucified 2 days earlier and then Jesus began explaining the Scriptures concerning Himself.

*Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. Lk 24:13-16 NKJV+

*and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. Lk 24:20-23 ESV+

*And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. Lk 24:27 ESV+

The 2 disciples talked Jesus into eating with them for it was getting towards evening before the day was over. When Jesus sat at the table with them and blessed the bread and gave it to them; they recognized Jesus, and suddenly He vanished from their sight. The 2 disciples hurriedly returned to Jerusalem to find the 11 disciples and tell them the good news.

*But they constrained Him, saying, "Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them. Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight. Lk 24:29-31 NKJV+

*And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found gathered together the eleven and those who were with them, Lk 24:33 NASB+

Jesus also appeared to Peter; we do not exactly when, but when the 2 disciples quickly found the 11 disciples and those gathered with them, they were talking about how Jesus had appeared to Peter who was also called Simon.††

*So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered togethersaying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!" Lk 24:33-34 NKJV+

29. Next Jesus appeared to some of His disciples, gave them indwelling of Holy Spirit. They were first after Jesus to have their spiritual beings come into the Kingdom of God; while still physically living on earth.

*On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Jn 20:10-20 NIV+

*And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Jn 20:22 NASB+

*For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro 14:17 ESV+

Those present: 10 disciples excluding Thomas (Jn:24), Judas (Matt 27:5); other disciples including 2 disciples from Emmaus (see verse above), Justus, Matthias (Ac 1:21-26); maybe some of the women accompanying the disciples.

Jesus then appeared to His 11 disciples when Thomas was present (Jn 20:26-28); and continued to appear to these 11 disciples in groups or when they were all together. Jesus also appeared to over 500 of His followers at one time, either on hill in Galilee or when He ascended (40 below); and also to James, His stepbrother through Mary His mother.

*But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designatedWhen they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Matt 28:16-19 NASB+

*Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 1Co 15:6-7 ESV+

30. For 40 days after His resurrection; Jesus taught His disciples, then ascended into the 2nd Heaven ^

40 is the number for a transition period of Godís plan of salvation; here referring to the 40 days Jesus would teach His followers to come into the New Covenant of His grace. To believe that His death atoned for the sins of believers, He had really arisen from the dead, and to accept His new glorified spiritual body; which no human had ever seen or heard about.

They needed time for the Holy Spirit to open their hearts, their human minds to trust Jesus, have the faith to believe they would receive a body just like Jesus now had; so they would be willing to give their lives for Jesus, as they told all about their great Savior.

*So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 1Co 15:42-44 ESV+

*But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Jn 14:26 NKJV+

Towards the end of the 40 days when Jesus was teaching His disciples, He told them not to leave Jerusalem, until they were baptized by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit would give them spiritual gifts, the strength to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Pentecost; the physical ability to speak in many tongues, the languages of all the people who would come to the Feast of Weeks (now Pentecost).

*On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." Ac 1:4-5 NIV+

*Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Ac 2:3-4 NKJV+

Then forty days after His Resurrection, on Thursday Iyar 26, 30AD, Jesus came to the Mount of Olives; here He would ascend into the Kingdom of God, the 2nd Heaven, Paradise. All present there were witnesses to Jesus ascending into the 1st Heaven over earth; saw the 2 angels who told them Jesus was taken up into in the 2nd Heaven, the Kingdom of God, Paradise.

*And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, ďMen of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heavenAc 1:9-11 ESV+

The same place Jesus will return from in power to begin His 1,000 year kingdom on earth.

*Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. Zech 14:3-4 ESV+

Many believe over 500 hundred people were gathered on the Mount of Olives and saw Jesus ascend up into the 1st Heavens over earth. Though others believe the 500 were on a hill in Galilee. see 29 above last paragraph.††

*After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 1Co 15:6 NASB+

Jesus was the firstborn/firstfruits to ascend into the 2nd Heaven with a glorified body; the first to complete His Fatherís plan of salvation. Assuring us we will likewise be saved, given glorified spiritual bodies like Jesus was, and be brought to Heaven to be with Him forever.

*So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of Godbuilt on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, Eph 2:19-20 ESV+

31. O/C law 40 year transition period would end 70AD, now when any physically die; have indwelling/Spirit, their spiritual being comes into 2nd Heaven, without indwelling/Spirit, their spiritual being goes to Hades

40 is a transition number of time to adjust when our Godís plan of salvation changes; there was a 40 year transition for Israel to come into the Promised Land; for 40 days Jesus transitioned His disciples to understand His resurrection from the dead forgave believersí sins, with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit they became children of God (see 30. above). Now God would give Israel a 40 year transition period for them to change from Old Covenant ceremonial law; and accept Jesus as their Messiah who died for their sins, and receive the holy Spirit into their hearts.

*When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, 'It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.' So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.' " Ps 95:9-11 NKJV+

*because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. Heb 10:14 NIV+

*But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. 2Thess 2:13 NASB+

God gave Israel 40 years after Jesus was crucified Passover Day Nissan 14, Passover 30AD; to accept Jesus as their Messiah. Then on Passover Day Nissan 14, 70AD the Romans trapped Israel in the Temple at Jerusalem when they came to celebrate Passover; and soon after destroyed Godís Temple at Jerusalem so no more offerings to make Israel righteous or holy could be offered up. Just as God gave Israel 40 years after He rescued them from Egypt, to follow His ways, obey His commands; or they could not enter into His Rest called Abrahamís Bosom.

*For forty years I loathed that generation and said, ďThey are a people who go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways.Ē Therefore I swore in my wrath, ďThey shall not enter my restPs 95:10-11 ESV+

The 40 year transition period to become righteous and holy by Old Covenant Ceremonial laws, ended when Jesusí prophesy about the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70AD happened. And Israel was unable to offer up any more Old Covenant ceremonial sacrifices to forgive their sins, to make them holy.

*Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down." Matt 24:1-2 NKJV+

*For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. Gal 2:19-21 ESV+

The only means by which we are now saved is Christís atoning grace on the cross; the only way we can receive His grace is by accepting the Holy Spirit into our hearts; so the Spirit can introduce us to our Lord. The only thing we have to do is give up our human will so our Father can give us the indwelling of His Spirit. And all without the Holy Spirit living in their hearts when they physically die; will have their spiritual being cast into Hades.

*However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. Ro 8:9 NASB+

*And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades. Lk 10:15 ESV+

32. Jesus is now the advocate for believers against satanís accusations; so their spiritual beings can enter into 2nd Heaven. Angels are the jury, judge human spiritual beings; angelic spiritual beings, including those who became demons †††††

The only change which was made to Godís Court in the 1st Heaven; was Jesus replaced the angel of the Lord, and became the Advocate for all believers in His Fatherís Court. God will always rule in Jesus favor when He intercedes for believers, for Jesus can forgive believersí sins. Jesus has defeated death, defeated satan, who accuses believers day and night in Godís Court in the 1st Heaven.††††

*My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. 1Jn 2:1-2 NASB+

*And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, ďNow the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. Rev 12:10 ESV+

Jesus lives in the hearts of all who give up our human will and are given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. When we receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, our spiritual being (soul and spirit) has been judged in Godís Court; found holy by the blood Jesus shed on the cross which has atoned for all of our sins. We are saints, spiritually joined together with Jesus as one spirit with Him; and through Jesus we are united together as one with all other saints.

*that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  Eph 3: 16-17 NKJV+

*But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1Co 6:17 NKJV+

Saint means holy ones; believersí holy spiritual beings whether living in our bodies on earth, or by themselves in 2nd Heaven after our bodies have died

*To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: 1Co 1:2 ESV+

*so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. 1Thess 3:13 NKJV+ Jesus brings all the saints; believers spiritual beings from Heaven down to the clouds over earth, to receive a glorified body

Because we are spiritually one with Jesus, while we still live on earth our spiritual being comes into the Kingdom of God with Jesus as He sits on His Fatherís Throne; though our human mind covers our awareness of what is happening. When our body and mind die, our spiritual being goes directly to Heaven as a self-contained unit, where they have already been; we do not have to go through Godís Court again. When Jesus lives in our heart we are saved forever.

*But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesusthat in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Eph 2:4-7 NKJV+

*For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Phil 3:20-21 NKJV+

The Holy Spirit continues to sanctify believers, forgive our sins when they happen; so our spiritual beings remain holy, so the Holy Spirit can continue to dwell in them. The Spirit immediately forgives our sins when we strive not to sin, but fall short; as long as we continue to love our God above all things. But if we willfully continue to commit sins after we have received the truth of Godís Word; we face the Judgment of God when we physically die, or Jesus returns in the clouds for those still living on earth.

*that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Ro 15:16 NKJV+

*If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Heb 10:26-27 NIV+

The only other judgement a believer, a saint will face is on the works we have done for our God. God is judging the works we have done on earth out of our love for Him, for all people; according to the abilities He has given us. We have been laying up blessings and treasures in Heaven for what we have done on earth, and God will reward us with stature in Heaven for doing them; some will be given many blessings, others will little. But all who have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit have been eternally saved as children of God; will not face any other judgment, we have been saved forever as children of God.

*"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; Matt 6:19-20 NASB+

*each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 1Co 3:13-15 NKJV+

33. Now Jesus sits at right hand of His Father helping us, interceding for us; so that we can become, remain children of God.

*looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:2 NKJV+

*Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Ro 8:34 NKJV+
