3. Verses: Heaven; after Christís Resurrection

All verses in this series can help explain each individual message

1. On Resurrection Day, in the early morning of Sunday Nisan 16, 30 AD.; Jesusí spiritual being along with the Holy Spirit descended from the 2nd Heaven down to where His dead physical body lay in His tomb near Jerusalem.

*The fact that God raised him from the dead, never to decay, is stated in these words: "'I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.' So it is stated elsewhere: "'You will not let your Holy One see decay.' Ac 13:34-35 NIV+

*But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Ro 8:11 NASB+

2. In Jesusí tomb the Holy Spirit resurrects His body from the dead, glorifies it; then reunites it with His spiritual being which came down from 2nd Heaven; giving His body life

The Holy Spirit raised Jesusí physical body from the dead, glorified His resurrected body, and reunited this glorified spiritual body with Jesusí spiritual being which had come down from Heaven. This gave life to Jesusí new perfect spiritual body; for His new glorified body was now one with His eternal spiritual being.

*It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 1Co 15:42-44 ESV+

*who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His perfect glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Phil 3:21 NKJV+

3. Jesus firstborn/firstfruits; be resurrected from the dead, receive a glorified/perfect body

Jesus is the firstborn/firstfruits to have His physical body; resurrected from the dead, glorified and reunited with His spiritual being as a perfect spiritual body.

*He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. Col 1:17-18 NASB+

*But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1Co 15:20 ESV+

Jesus is presented as firstfruits to His Father; on the day of Firstfruits (Reshit Katzir); which is the day (Sunday Nissan 16) after the regular Sabbath day (Saturday) during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Jesus fulfilled this ceremonial feast; one of the 7 ceremonial feasts which must be fulfilled before our Father creates a new Heaven and earth, where we will live with Him forever.

*Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priestHe shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. Lev 23:10-11 NKJV+

*If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches. Ro 11:16 ESV+

4. On Resurrection Day the indwelling of the Holy Spirit given to some disciples; believersí spiritual beings come into the Kingdom of God, while they live in their physical bodies on earth

Jesus prophesied there would be a time coming when the true believers would worship the Father in spirit and truth; this was fulfilled when the indwelling/Spirit was given. For when the Spirit lives in our hearts, we are spiritually united to our God, can spiritually approach Him, and we do not have to come through any intermediary, priest or pastor. Only with the indwelling/Spirit can we call Jesus our Lord; and through Christís atoning grace come directly to our Heavenly Father.

*Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." Jn 4:23-24 NIV+

*Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says ďJesus is accursed!Ē and no one can say ďJesus is LordĒ except in the Holy Spirit. 1Co 12:3 ESV+

Jesus gave the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to some of His disciples on the same day He was resurrected; for He had now been glorified, was now able to give the indwelling of the Spirit to those who believed in Him.

*But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. Jn 7:9 NKJV+

*even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. Jn 14:17 ESV+

*Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Jn 20:21-22 NIV+

The 2 different baptisms of the Spirit; indwelling/Spirit and gifts/Spirit, were both given before Pentecost.

(1) The indwelling of the Holy Spirit: baptism of Holy Spirit, spirit renewed, born again, anointed; was first given to some disciples on Resurrection Day.

*As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. 1Jn 2:27 NASB+

(2) Gifts from the Holy Spirit: after one receives the indwelling/Spirit, they continually receive gifts (baptisms, anointings) from the Spirit; to help them do the work our Father wants us to do. The apostles (disciples) given the indwelling/Spirit, were also given the baptism (gifts) of the Holy Spirit to help understand the commands Jesus had given them before He ascended into Heaven. (8/16/17; need to change other messages to this truth.)

*until the day when he was taken up, after he had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen. Ac 1:2 ESV+

On Pentecost; the disciples were given more gifts by the Spirit; the ability to talk in many languages, the strength to proclaim Jesus as God.

*And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Ac 2:4 NKJV+

Israel and proselytes (Gentiles accepted under Jewish law) as a nation were first given the indwelling/Spirit at Pentecost. All those present at the Feast of Tabernacles (Booths), who would accept Jesus as their Savior; were given the indwelling baptism of the Spirit and gifts of the Spirit. Gentiles (non-Jews, non-proselytes) would not receive the indwelling of the Spirit until 8-13 years after Pentecost. Peter would not accept uncircumcised Gentiles until 15-20 years after Pentecost (Gal 2:12), is why Gentiles wanted to be called Christians not disciples (Ac 11:16-26).

"Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also knowóAc 2:22 NKJV+

5. The spiritual beings of disciples given the indwelling of the Spirit; come into Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God at this time is a spiritual kingdom, is in the 2nd Heaven. Christís atoning grace on the cross forgives our sins so our spiritual being can become holy, so the Spirit can live in our hearts; and where the Spirit resides, God resides, His Kingdom resides. Believersí bodies then become the Temple of God, and our spiritual beings become the only holy place on earth where the holy spiritual Kingdom of God exists. For the 1st heaven and earth are satanís domain, are full of sin.

*Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observationnor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." Lk 17:20-21 NKJV+

*But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. Ro 8:10 NIV+

* Do you not know that you are Godís temple and that Godís Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys Godís temple, God will destroy him. For Godís temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1Co 3:16-17 ESV+

All who have the Spirit living in our hearts; have our spiritual being living in the Kingdom of God while we physically live on earth. And because the Spirit can sanctify us, guide us; the least of us spiritually living in the Kingdom of God/Heaven is greater than any prophet from the Old Covenant. For they could not receive the indwelling/Spirit, come into the Kingdom of God until Christís grace on the cross atoned for their sins. Kingdom; of God, of Heaven; same Kingdom

*I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matt 11:11 NIV+

*For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he." Lk 7:28 NKJV+

6. 40 days Jesus taught followers; then He ascended into 2nd Heaven in His glorified body

*He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God. Ac 1:3 ESV+

*For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.Ē Jn 6:40 ESV+

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Ro 8:11 NASB+

7. 40 days after Resurrection Day; Jesus ascends to 2nd Heaven

*and said, ďMen of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heavenAc 1:11 ESV+

8. Jesus firstborn/firstfruits; first to come into the 2nd Heaven with a glorified body

Jesus 40 days later on Thursday Iyar 26, 30AD; was the firstborn/firstfruits to ascend into the 2nd Heaven with a glorified body; the first to complete His Fatherís plan of salvation, which will give all believers eternal life with our God. And Jesus sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

*And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, ďMen of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.Ē Ac 1:9-11 ESV+

*looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:2 NKJV+

9. All with indwelling/Spirit spiritual beings go to 2nd Heaven with Jesus while we live on earth

10. A believer living on earth, spiritual being is one with Jesus; comes in Him to Godís Throne

All believersí spiritual beings are united together with Jesusí spiritual being as one; while we physically live on earth. Jesus spiritually lives in us, and we spiritually live in Him; wherever Jesus goes, we spiritually go with Him. When Jesus sits on the right hand of our Father, we are spiritually in Him, spiritually sitting at the right hand of our Heavenly Fatherís Throne with Jesus. Though while we live in our physical body, we will not be physically aware of going to Heaven; but our spiritual being will have the peace and certainty to know that when our body dies, our spiritual being will see Jesus face to face.

*But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1Co 6:17 NASB+

*even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph 2:5-6 NASB+

When we physically die; Jesus will take our spiritual being where He lives within our heart, up into the 2nd Heaven. There we will fully see Jesus, know Him, as well as all the spiritual beings of believers living there; even as we are known by Jesus, all the spiritual beings living there. What a blessing this is!!! ††

*Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1Co 13:12 NIV+

11. 40 year transition period ended in 70AD, the Old Covenant ceremonial law needed no longer; only Christís atoning blood on

†††††† the cross O/C law over can atone for our sins, so our spiritual being can come into the 2nd Heaven

40 is always a number for transition of our God; there was a 40 year transition for Israel to come into the Promised Land; for 40 days Jesus transitioned His disciples to understand His resurrection from the dead, that they would be guided by the Holy Spirit to bring to spread His message of grace to Israel first (see 6. above). And there was a 40 year transition period for Israel to change from Old Covenant ceremonial law and accept Jesus as their Messiah, as their Lord. This 40 year transition period to accept Christ as their Lord and come under His grace was from His resurrection in 30AD until His prophesy about the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70AD happened. And Israel was unable to offer up any more Old Covenant ceremonial sacrifices to forgive their sins, to make them holy.

*When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, 'It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.' So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.' " Ps 95:9-11 NKJV+

*Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down." Matt 24:1-2 NKJV+

*For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. Gal 2:19-21 ESV+

12. All must believe in Jesus; have spiritual beings go to Heaven when their physical body dies

The blood Christ shed on the cross redeemed us from our sins, made us spiritually holy after it was accepted by His Father on the day Jesus was crucified; now all believersí spiritual beings can go to Heaven, just like the thief above. Yet our physical bodies will turn to dust until Jesus returns in the clouds to give us glorified bodies.

*knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 1Pe 1:18-19 NKJV+

*I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 1Co 15:50 ESV+

* For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Godnot as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Eph 2:8-9 NASB+

13. The 40 year transition period for those under the law to be saved ended in 70AD when the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. Now all spiritual beings without the Holy Spirit living in their hearts; go to Hades when their physical body dies

14. Now all without indwelling/Spirit have their spiritual beings come into Hades when their physical body dies

The only means by which we are now saved is Christís atoning grace on the cross; the only way we can receive His grace is by accepting the Holy Spirit into our hearts; so the Spirit can introduce us to our Lord. The only thing we have to do is give up our human will so our Father can give us the indwelling of His Spirit. And all without the Holy Spirit living in their hearts when they physically die; will have their spiritual being cast into Hades.

*However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. Ro 8:9 NASB+

*Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1Co 12:3 NIV+
